Immigration voice is pushing for automatic H1B, H4 EAD 1 year extensions to be added in Stimulus bill during Coronavirus emergency.

My opinion:

Chances are low to favor non-american workers in election year.
If we look at Stimulus bill of 2009 from 2008 recession, H1B restrictions were indeed increased.

DOL will issue PERM approvals by email between Mar 25 to June 30, 2020 due to Coronavirus emergency.
PERM processing time remains same but cutting down mail time.

USCIS should accept the PERM approval printed from email with i140 application.

H1B healthcare workers in rural American cannot work at other clinic.

And we are expecting that automatic H1B extensions will be given in Stimulus bill. Chances are slim.

Do not worry. If you get #coronavirus and you are on visa in the US, you will be treated the same as any other US citizen.

Do not believe the rumors that your visa will be canceled and you will be deported.

The ventilator will be decided based on the chances of survival. US government does not discriminate on the basis of visa status for medical treatment.

New York state has guidelines for who gets preference for Ventilators.

EAD Expedite Requests in Coronavirus:

Many people have reported that USCIS is approving their EAD expedite request if the job is in the medical field or your employer has healthcare-related business.

This H4 EAD expedite request was approved by USCIS swiftly in coronavirus emergency even though the first two expedite requests were denied earlier.

There is no harm in trying if your H4 EAD or L2 EAD is pending at this time.

My heart goes out to all doctors and medical workers who are working relentlessly to save Americans affected by COVID-19.

I want to give my special thanks to all Indian doctors who are on a restricted H1B visa and still doing their best to treat patients.

H1B Indian doctors are worried about family if something happens to them while treating Coronavirus patients in the USA.
They want green card for their family.
