Updated with our guest's suggestions (Good to learn new things that help document and identity protection - I also did not know many myself):
Help me with your choices:

1. Avoid public photocopy machines as they have a hard disk that stores your document. Try scanning and Printing at home or at your office (kind of safe as they delete data regularly).
2. Use Sentry Safe to protect Physical original documents (Flood, fireproof) - Courtesy Rahul Goswami (PERM WhatsApp group #3) - I never thought it was required until he suggested.
3. Use iPhone Notes app for scanning - thanks to Nimish (out of the box thinking in H1B group #1)
4. Use Shredder ALWAYS - you may not feel but your documents have your identity information (Bharath from twitter - https://twitter.com/iamkbharath/status/1283475014419976196)
5. Many people (5+) said Microsoft Office Lens Scan is good. I have never used it but seems to be a popular option.

Full list of the apps and services that I have used in the past and continue to use for transcripts, notary, and other things from Amazon.
