अधिकांश अभ्यर्थी ऐसे ही होते हैं। हर शहर में आप यह देख सकते हैं। तो यदि कलेक्टर बनने का सच में जुनून है तो हम कुछ बातें बता रहे हैं उन्हें फालो करो। सिर्फ पोस्ट पढने से कुछ नही होगा। उपदेश देना आसान है और करना मुश्किल। तो आपको करना है सिर्फ़ सोचना नही है - -
(1.) अपनी खुद की रूचि हो तभी तैयारी शुरू करो । क्योंकि कठिन पढ़ाई आपको करना है किसी और को नहीं। देखा - देखी नहीँ । नकल करके नही अक्ल लगा कर।
( 2.) किसी कोचिंग, रिश्तेदारों या स्कूल टीचर के सतही सुझावों में मत फंस जाना। हम इसलिए आगाह कर रहे हैं कि कल आप असफलता के अवसाद में डूब न जाएँ क्योंकि प्रायः 100 में से 98 फेल ही होते हैं।
( 3.) कमजोर विषयों की तैयारी हेतु हर प्रयास करने के लिए सदैव तैयार रहना होगा । चाहे कितनी भी मेहनत करनी पड़े ।
( 4.) तैयारी का शार्टकट नही अपनाएँगें बल्कि पूरी प्लानिंग के साथ तीनों चरणों की तैयारी करेंगे । अपने अनुभव और समझ के आधार पर ।
(5.) अब से आगे जो भी निर्णय लेंगे तर्क, तथ्य और विश्लेषण के आधार पर लेंगे । चाहे निर्णय छोटा हो या बड़ा । क्योंकि सही समय पर सही निर्णय करना कलेक्टर का सबसे प्रमुख गुण होता है ।
(6.) कलेक्टर बनने के लिए जो भी आदतें जरूरी है उन्हें अपनाएंगे । और लगातार सीखने के लिए तैयार रहेगें ।
(7.) ज्ञान का घमंड नहीं करेंगे । और थोथे प्रदर्शन से बचेंगे । हर जगह पर सही तरीके से खुद को प्रस्तुत करेंगे ।
(8.) व्यवहार में शालीनता और लचीलापन रखेंगे । थोड़ी सी गंभीरता भी रखेंगे । विवेकानंद ने कहा था कि ""Courtesy cost nothing but buys everything. ""
(9.) किसी से बेवजह तुलना नही करेंगे । पहले दिन से ही तैयारी सही दिशा में करेंगे । जो भी पढेंगे टाइम टेबल और सिलेबस के अनुसार पढेंगे । बेकार की किताबों से दूर रहेंगे ।
(10.) यदि गलती किया है तो रोने के बजाए । गलतियों की लिस्ट बनाएंगे और उन्हें दूर करने तथा दुहराने से बचेंगे । कहा भी गया है कि - - "" जब तक तुम गलतियों को दुहराओगे । असफलता भी खुद को दोहरायेगी । ""
( 11.) और अंत में बता दूं कि - हार नही मानोगे कभी भी नही । जब तक कि कलेक्टर बन न जाओ । चाहे कितना भी दुख क्यों न हो । सब कुछ सह लो लेकिन रूकना नही है । क्योंकि तुम्हारे पास खोने के लिए कुछ नहीं है और पाने के लिए सारा आकाश है ।
