GS 3

Check the quality of questions
If we consider the marks in the Essay and the four GS papers, many aspirants are still in the race while many are already out of it.

However, the real game begins now. After the Optional paper, those who may not appear strong based on Essay and GS performance can surge ahead of others and secure an interview call.

Mark my words — the Optional paper has always been a game changer, and it will be the same this year too.

So, prepare your Optional thoroughly. Even if you feel your GS and Essay marks may not be very high, a strong performance in the Optional can not only keep you in the race but also help you secure a rank.

All the best!

Article on the Need for Representation of Women in the Supreme Court as Judges

Since 1950, only 11 women have been elevated to the Supreme Court.

The presence of women in the judiciary not only enhances gender parity but also brings diverse perspectives in delivering judgments, shaped by their personal and professional experiences with law.

This is crucial for society, the judiciary, and the cause of gender equality.

Malacca straits is an 800 km important shipping lane which is connecting Andaman Sea and Pacific Ocean.

The strait is strategically more important for India as India's proximity to the malacca strait.

India's has interest in the strait as 60% India's sea based trade and 100% LNG import passed through this strait.

Even this strait is responsible for 40 to 50% global trade and 7p% Asias oil import transit through this strait.

Very important for GS2 IR, Security, trade.

Total Fertility Rate (TFR) refers to the average number of children expected to be born per woman during her entire reproductive span.

The National Population Policy, 2000 targeted India’s TFR to be brought down to 2.1.

However, India’s current TFR has declined to 1.9.

States like Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Maharashtra, and West Bengal have a TFR below 2.1.

This is an important topic for areas such as Society, Health, Essay and Sociology.
