Double Stochastic Oscillator:

Like the original stochastic oscillators, it is a momentum-based indicator, reflecting the current closing price in relation to the high/low range over a specified period. It oscillates between 0 and 100. The Double Stochastic Oscillator presumes that during an uptrend the price will close in proximity to the high of the range and during a downtrend the price will close in proximity to the low of the range.

The Double Stochastic Oscillator is presented by two lines – %K, the main (fast) line and %D, the signal (slow) line.

The number of Crypto ATMs crosses 39,000 worldwide.

During the first week of August 2022, the number of digital currency dispersing automated teller machines (ATMs) operating globally crossed the 39K mark. In fact, across 77 countries, 614 crypto ATM operators have installed 39,011 cryptocurrency ATMs, according to metrics recorded by coinatmradar.com. This week the number of cryptocurrency automated teller machines (ATMs) operating worldwide has surpassed the 39,000 mark.
The U.S. commands 87.9% of the aggregate of crypto ATMs installed worldwide with 34,299 machines. The rest of the world’s percentage of crypto ATMs operating today is around 4.9% with Europe capturing 3.8% of that number.

Iran Imports $10 Million Worth of Goods in Crypto

Iran has registered its first official order for importing $10 million worth of goods in cryptocurrency this week, the semi-official Tasnim agency reported on Tuesday quoting an official from the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.

“This week, the first official import order registration worth 10 million dollars was successfully completed using cryptocurrency. By the end of September, the use of cryptocurrencies and smart contracts will be widely used in foreign trade with target countries,” Alireza Peymanpak said.

The Merge might happen sooner than expected.
As previously reported, the date for it was set for September 19th, but it appears that it might come sooner than expected.

During a call, core developers such as Terence Tsao – co-founder of Prysmatic Labs, and Tim Beiko, agreed that The Merge can take place when the Total Terminal Difficulty (TTD) hits 58750000000000000000000.
This might happen as soon as September 15th.
Tweeting on the matter was Terence Tsao, who said:
Tentative Miannet TTD -> 58750000000000000000000

Note: nothing is final until it’s in client release, so do expect changes last minute due to unforeseen circumstances.

Meanwhile, yesterday – on August 11th, at around 1:45 UTC time, Goerli – the last of the three public testnets transitioned to proof-of-stake successfully.
This takes the project a step closer to the long-anticipated mainnet upgrade, which might happen a bit earlier than expected.
