▶️Leclerc — Predator of the Digital Age

Modern Western tanks are quite similar to each other in many ways, but the French Leclerc is clearly cut from a different cloth. While developing France's most advanced production MBT, the designers bet heavily on automation, mobility, and technological superiority.

▶️Su-17: A New Life for the Su-7

In the second half of the 1950s, Soviet factories built a small batch of Su-7 frontline fighters. The aircraft was fast and agile, but far from trouble-free. During testing, it exceeded 2000 km/h and had an impressive service ceiling, but the early AL-7F-1 engine suffered from poor reliability and a short service life. An even more serious issue was takeoff and landing performance. Because of the highly swept wing, both approach and takeoff speeds were very high. This made the aircraft more difficult to handle and required longer runways.
