How to Cope During Times of Distress
The purpose of this short guide is to help anyone who is feeling overwhelmed, in distress, or struggling to cope. The aim is to show those struggling that there are many people who care, even when it doesnβt feel like it.
At times, the world may feel scary and dark, but together we can come into the light. Together we are stronger and we will make it through this together.
With love and respect,
Dr. Kat & Dr. Christian

Forwarded from Dr Tess Lawrie
Where others see numbers, Dr Jessica Rose sees people ... and why warriors cry
β¨ drtesslawrie.substack.com/p/where-others-see-numbers-dr-jessica
I love and appreciate every Tess Talks conversation β but this Sundayβs was a meeting of hearts and minds that meant so much to me.
Dr Jessica Rose is a Canadian researcher with a bachelorβs degree in applied mathematics and a masterβs degree in immunology. She also holds a PhD in computational biology and two (yes, two) postdoctoral degrees in molecular biology and chemistry. I think itβs safe to say this wonderful woman loves science and the pursuit of knowledge.
Over the past two years she has been applying her extraordinary skill and expertise to studying the USβ Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) data and sharing her disturbing findings with whoever will listen.
I relate to her mission and her work very much: we were both studying the pharmacovigilance databases early on and both saw the adverse event reports coming in at an alarming rate. We both wrote papers, went on podcasts and video calls, trying to get the message out to the authorities and the public, that these vaccines were far too dangerous and had to be stopped.
Two warriors, in two different corners of the world, doing parallel work and getting little response.
Now here we are in 2022, with adverse event reports numbering in the millions, and yet babies as young as six months old are now being injected with this toxic gene therapy. What on earth is going on, and how was this allowed to happen?
Believe it or not, while Jessica and I have been in meetings together over the last two years, we have never actually sat down, just the two of us, to compare notes β until now. I am so glad we did.
When Jessica looks at the VAERS data, she doesnβt see numbers, she sees people. I think the world probably looks at Jessica and thinks sheβs witty, outspoken, tough as nails β and all that is true. But sheβs also deeply sensitive, compassionate, and her heart breaks every day at what is happening to people.
Please do also watch the conversation this Sunday β and share with all and sundry. Read her Substack and check out her recent presentation on fertility data at World Council for Health General Assembly Meeting #47.
As Jessica shares, despite the ad hominem attacks on her and all those speaking out, βFor the first time I feel like Iβm actually standing in who I am. Iβm allowed to say what I think, Iβm allowed to feel what I feelβ¦ I made a lot of amazing connections.β
That is true freedom.

π· 7 Reasons to End Mask Mandates for Good: A Guide for Parents, Teachers, and All People
Mask wearing has become commonplace around the world. Though mandates have been lifted in many places, some individuals continue to still wear a mask, particularly in indoor spaces. There are also concerns that public health authorities will reinstate mask requirements and/or travel mask mandates despite evidence that they donβt work and are harmful.
Our new guide is for parents, teachers, medical professionals, and all people. It addresses common questions, gives guidance and encouragement to those wishing to advocate for themselves and their dependents, and outlines seven solid reasons to end mask mandates for good.

Today is Day 1 of the WCH Breathe Better Challenge!
Ready?
Today we're trying Box Breathing β 4-4-4-4
The Science:
This technique is great for stress reduction and is used by athletes around the world. It was developed by Mark Divine, a former Navy SEAL commander. It is a great technique if you notice yourself in Fight or Flight mode.
Preparation:
Sit in a comfortable position with a straight back and slowly breathe all of the air out of your lungs.
Technique:
1. Slowly breathe in through your nose for a count of 4. Focus on the feeling of air filling your lungs.
2. Hold your breath for a count of 4.
3. Breathe out through your mouth for a third count of 4. Pay attention to the sensation of the air leaving your body.
4. Hold your breath again for a final count of 4.
5. Repeat. We suggest 10-20 sets.
How did it feel? Have you tried this technique before?

Today is Day 2 of the WCH Breathe Better Challenge!
Ready?
Today we're practicing Belly Breathing.
The Science:
Studies have shown that this technique leads to an increase in focus and a decrease in negative emotions. Conscious belly breathing allows more oxygen to come into your lungs and brings us back to our original state of being.
Preparation:
Sit or lie in a comfortable position and close your eyes.
Technique:
1. Put one hand on your chest and one on your belly.
2. Slowly breathe in and focus on bringing the breath down to the belly. Try to keep the rest of your body relaxed and your chest still. It should just be the belly slowly moving in and out.
3. Breathe out through your mouth slowly and feel your stomach fall.
4. Repeat 15 times.
