Celebrating #WorldIvermectinDay
Ivermectin is a decades-old antiparasitic and antiviral drug. It was first approved for human use in 1987. In 2015, scientists William Campbell and Satoshi Mura were awarded the Nobel Prize for their discovery of ivermectin, which has significantly reduced deaths from tropical infections.
After being administered a few billion times to vulnerable populations, including children and pregnant women, the drug took center stage in April 2020, when Australian researchers from Monash University found that just a single dose could stop SARS-CoV-2 from growing in cell culture.

It's Day 9 of the WCH Breathe Better Challenge!
Today we're practicing Bone Breathing.
The Science:
Bone breathing is an ancient Taoist technique for bringing deep relaxation into the muscles, body and mind. When practiced, Bone Breathing will allow you to quiet and clarify your mind, relax better and improve the natural capacity of your body to heal. Originating in Taoist monasteries in the mountain ranges of China some immemorial time ago, the Bone Marrow Nei-Kung, the discipline from which the Bone Breathing formula has been extracted, was originally designed to fortify the blood, strengthen the bones and raise the flow of Chi or life-giving force.
Preparation:
Lie down on your back in a comfortable position.
Technique:
1. With your eyes closed, do some abdominal breathing first to relax the body and mind.
2. Slowly move through your body from head to toe, bringing your attention to the bones in each location (eg forehead, sides of the head, back of the head, cheeks, neck etc.. all the way to the toes).
3. As you breathe in, βexpandβ your bones, as you exhale, imagine them relaxing. Bringing attention to the bones allows the muscles around the bones to relax, which in turn brings relaxation to the body-mind. It is ok if you fall asleep during this meditation.
How did it feel? Have you tried this before?
