⚠️ Warning — new advanced X (Twitter) account takeover attack bypassing even 2FA

How the attack works:

▪️You receive a direct message with a link to a supposed Google Calendar invite.
▪️The preview looks legitimate, but the link leads to a fake site.
▪️The phishing page opens a fake Twitter login where an app called “Calendar” asks for full account access.
▪️If you click “Allow”, attackers gain complete control of your account — even bypassing 2FA.

How to protect yourself:

▪️Always check the URL before logging in.
▪️Do not grant excessive permissions to unknown apps.
▪️In Twitter → Settings → Connected apps, remove suspicious apps (especially anything called Calendar).

Paolo Ardoino announced that Tether plans to actively promote its new “American stablecoin” USAT — it will first be used on the Rumble platform, which has 51 million monthly active users.
