Gold already made 3 attempts to breakout and now in a process of forth attempt. The more times resistance is tested the weaker it becomes - that is a golden rule. And therefore now chances for breakout are at their maximum.

Nearest target levels are 2743 / 2762 / 2790 - after that open targets within ATH

Gold remains within uptrend and above last week open (3367). Either will consolidate here and eventually bounce to continue uptrend, or lose that level and go down for liquidity under one of previous swings like 3310 and 3282.

While in uptrend bias remains bullish and longs are in priority.

Gold lost its nearest support and dropped to 3301 ✅

It remains in a higher timeframe uptrend, which means the chances of a bounce toward 3350–3380 are high.
If the price manages to reclaim and hold above 3350, continuation to the upside becomes likely.

"Bearish" scenario:
Last week XAU closed with a bearish candle and strong rejection, which could lead to a bull flag-style consolidation, with a potential bottom forming around 3200–3250.
That zone becomes the next target after the 3282 liquidity pool is cleared.
