Russia's State Duma Speaker Volodin commented on Armenia's current path:

"The same thing happened in Ukraine. When the decision was made to integrate with the EU, they talked about one thing, including development prospects.

In reality, it turned out that those same Ukrainian agricultural products were essentially barred from European markets, with strict and unfavorable tariff quotas imposed on them. The same awaits Armenia"
