During our journey through the endless wild shards of Murrlandia, we spotted a curious tree silhouetted in the distance.
Is it magical? Or maybe it grows on an unusual land? Any guesses?🤔

🌳 So what is this tree?🌳
We decided to get closer to it and discovered a whole city! It turns out it grows in the central square.
We still have to explore the city and show you its most interesting corners. But for now, take a look at the tree sketch and leave more reactions under this post so that we can show you how it looks in the game as soon as possible!😉

Adventurers, we know that you have lots of questions after the last announcement. Here’s a short FAQ addressing the most important ones.

Is WorldShards a web3 game?
- There will be two versions of the game, one will be a fully web2 version and the other will include the web3 elements.

Why did you choose to make a web3 version of WorldShards?
- We have been developing games for a long time, and are keenly aware that players have been trading in-game items long before the emergence of web3. We believe that ownership of the assets may be appealing for some gamers. On the other hand, we know that many players have a negative sentiment towards web3 games, and we respect that view. Since we believe that WorldShards is first and foremost a fun game to play, regardless of the business model, we decided to let players choose the version they prefer to engage with. Steam will have the free-to-play web2 version.

Will web2 and web3 versions have a shared economy?
- No. They will work as two isolated systems without any overlap or shared components.

Will the web2 version of the game lack some content or functions? Will it be a stripped-down version of the web3 version?
- No. The web3 version will only differ in items and functionality, allowing you to sell some items on the marketplace. There won’t be any additional variations between the versions, for better or worse. We respect the choice of the players, regarding which version of the game they ultimately decide on playing, and do not believe in delivering an inferior experience based on that choice.

I'm indifferent to web3. Can I just play the game for free?
- Yes. You can play the Steam version of the game, which will be the free-to-play web2 version.

Does Steam ban all games with NFT? Will your game be banned too?
- The Steam version of the game will be the free-to-play web2 version, so no, it will not get banned.

During Early Access, the game will continue to undergo active development and may undergo significant changes. This allows you to actively shape the direction of the game's development by providing meaningful feedback and reporting bugs 🪲
