⚠️ Notice for USDN holders in the Ethereum network
Due to the specifics of staking reward distribution in the Ethereum network, our community faced a situation when the amount of gas required for transactions had significantly increased. This made interacting with the $USDN token in the Ethereum network economically impractical. We received your feedback and decided to update the token’s smart contract.
However, due to the fact that Ethereum lacks the ability to update contract code, we had to write a new contract that will consume 5-6 times less gas, making gas fees comparable to those for USDT token transactions. The new token will retain the existing staking functionality.
The renewal of the token contract will take place tomorrow. No earlier than at 9:00 AM (UTC), addresses of ERC-20 USDN holders will be snapshotted, the old contract (0x06f59A767f33eaBE3F1a3D3C14997Bae8058430C) will be blocked, and all token holders will receive new tokens at a 1: 1 ratio.
If you are a $USDN holder in Ethereum, you do not need to take any action other than adding the address of the new contract to the token list, if you use Metamask. We will announce the new contract’s address tomorrow and provide you with more details. If you want to transfer $USDN tokens back to the Waves network, you can still do so. Your funds are safe.

Now all $USDN transaction costs in the Ethereum network are comparable to those of Tether USD transactions, but all $USDN holders receive daily rewards for staking directly from their wallets. Don’t forget to add $USDN to a token list if you use Metamask. Our apologies for any inconveniences.
