Hello Hello, how you doing?
Few days ago one friend asked me how is my experience in these time:
Due to the nature of my work I only stay home on Sunday’s and Saturday’s.
I say, it's a blessing in disguise! Like a much need time I have been dying to have for myself; take my time and explore my interests and learn new skills (cooking 🔥); Reading a lot, lessoning music’s, movies, broadening my senses towards the world ( Africa and Ethiopia) .learning to listen more and deeper; going back to the mast of time and connecting with my long forgotten past.
All in all, it has been a time to figure out myself while learning a lot of things about our environments and human consciousness.
So here comes a question to you: What are you doing during this lockdown?
I suggest we all should do something and use this time. For instance, picking up skills of our interests and practicing a few durations each day. This could be brushing up you software skills (either by tutorials or producing experimental content); spending time writing your thoughts on paper; sketching random stuff; making / listening music; Reading on interesting topics, attempting to redesign your immediate environment (that's home for now, clothing’s); volunteering in your house and villages, Doing physical activities ( I walk for 5min each day 🤭 am lazy ) .
Helping elders and children in your home or villages (Since you Architecture students have a multi dimension mind, trust me you will inspire many around you ).
Make sure you start off small and steady.... so that you're not discouraged and track the progress you're having regularly.
