Dear Readers,
In this issue, we celebrate the Aga Khan–Award winning project, that offers a compelling example of architecture shaped by land, memory, and cultural conversation.
Built into a steep hillside, the Dutch Embassy chancery building embraces imperfection and material honesty—iron-oxide concrete, exposed form-work textures, stone-lined roofs, and spaces that evoke Lalibela’s carved interiors.
