Mahavatar Babaji "The deathless guru bears no mark of age on his body; he appears to be a youth of not more than twenty-five. Fair-skinned, of medium build and height, Babaji's beautiful, strong body radiates a perceptible glow. His eyes are dark, calm, and tender; his long, lustrous hair is copper-colored." — from Autobiography of a Yogi -

Seclusion is the price of greatness.......

Seclusion Is the Price of Greatness:---
Seclusion is the price of greatness. Be alone within. Don't lead the aimless life that so many persons follow.meditate and read good books more. There are so many inspiring things to know, and yet man spends his time foolishly. Happiness will never come if you don't concentrate and act on the wisdom of great men. Their thoughts are there to help you,in the scriptures and other truthful books.

Who Am I ?

Once you sit down and ponder seriously over this question , you will discover that all book learning that you have crammed into your brain and all the practical experience that you have gained in active life are not of the slightest help in solving this question.

Whenever your mind wanders in the maze of worldly thoughts, patiently bring it back to remembrance of the indwelling Lord. In time, you will find Him ever with you---a God who talks with you in your own language, a God whose face peeps at you from every flower, every shrub, and blade of grass.

A talk by Paramahansa Yogananda read by a devotee. Duration: 16 minutes "Talking with God is a definite fact. God, being cosmic vibration, is the Word. God as the Word is humming through all atoms. There is a music coming out of the universe that deeply meditating devotees can hear.
The minutes are more important than years. If you do not fill the minutes of your life with thoughts of God, the years will slip by; and when you neeed Him the most, you may be unable to feel His presence. But if you fill the minutes of your life with divine aspirations, automatically the years will be saturated with His presence.

Avoid the constant company of other people......
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
You should learn to concentrate your thoughts. Therefore It is important to have time to be alone. Avoid the constant company of other people. Most of them are like a spounge;they draw everything out of you, and you seldom receive anything in return. It is wortwhile to be others only if they are sincer and strong, and if each one is conscious of the other's sincerity and strength, so that you exchange noble soul qualities...

"Seeing God as the underlying Reality is the way to solve the problem of being caught up in the delusive distortions of our material experiences.
Stars, planets, plants, animals, and human beings are all let loose on a beautiful cosmic stage, with each one playing an assigned part. Very few people understand the meaning of the play because they do not pause to think deeply about it. To the unenlightened, the drama often seems chaotic and unjust. But God purposely did not automatically make all people poor or all people millionaires, because if everyone were alike this drama could not go on. Diversity is the basis of Nature, and self-evolution is one means of maintaining this diversity.
By the law of cause and effect, action and reaction, we make of ourselves what we presently are and what we will be. The result of this variety, created by both man and Nature, is what we experience as the cosmic drama. However, God does not want us to suffer because of these differences. He wants us to know that whether one is currently playing the part of a king or of a servant, he must do his best, but never forget that as a soul, made in the image of God, he is only enacting a temporary role.
Therefore, it doesn't matter whether we scrub floors, or whether we are the leaders of great nations; unless we know that we are merely playing a part on the stage of time, we will suffer from the dualities inherent in the consciousness of being identified with these different stations and conditions. Stage actors do not bemoan their particular parts, but enact their roles to the best of their ability, knowing they are temporary portrayals. Do you see? It is only when we take life too seriously that we suffer."

"Habit-bound people can best be described as psychological antiques. They are the same, year in and year out. They say the same old things, do the same old things. Converse with them just a little while and you can anticipate exactly what their next remark will be. Take a look in the mirror of introspection and see if you are a psyclological antique. Most people are.
But why should you be one? Change your habits. Cast out moods. Try to be better every day. Let people be able to say, "What a wonderful change has come over him!"."

“Optical images,” Dr. L. T. Troland of Harvard tells us, “are built up on the same principle as the ordinary ‘half-tone’ engravings; that is, they are made up of minute dottings or stripplings far too small to be detected by the eye. . . . The sensitiveness of the retina is so great that a visual sensation can be produced by relatively few Quanta of the right kind of light.” Through a master’s divine knowledge of light phenomena, he can instantly project into perceptible manifestation the ubiquitous light atoms. The actual form of the projection—whether it be a tree, a medicine, a human body—is in conformance with a yogi’s powers of will and of visualization.

From Chapter 30, “The Law of Miracles“
Do not take your earth experiences too seriously. The root cause of sorrow is viewing the passing show with emotional involvement. If you continually think to yourself, "I haven't lived as I ought to have lived," you only make yourself miserable. Rather, do your best to be better; and no matter what difficulties come,, ever affirm, "It is all dream. It will pass" Then no trouble can be a great trial to you. No happiness of this earth can in any way torture you.......
