Юрій Августович Шульте (17.07.1910 — 18.08.1995) – видатний вчений і організатор науки, засновник і науковий керівник галузевої лабораторії зносостійких та холодностійких сталей і стопів, яка існувала при кафедрі "Машини та технологія ливарного виробництва" багато років. З нагоди ювілею вченого-металурга і винахідника Наукова бібліотека НУ «Запорізька політехніка» підготувала тематичний дайджест «Освіта без меж через все життя».
