Farahzad Eco Park
#Tehran_Municipality is planning to develop the #Farahzad #ecopark based on #sustainablity criteria. We had a site visit today morning.
It is designed to be compatible to #nature #habitat
Eco Parks are large, connected #landscapes with high #nature_conservation and #environmental_protection ambitions. They are parks which use #ecological #landscape features to reduce #watering and other #maintenance while enhancing wildlife and human values. Eco Parks serve as a vehicle for reconnection, and for developing the systems understandings necessary for creative and resilient problem-solving.

Our latest paper in the field of #sustainable_construction by using #recycled_wastes in #pavements is published by reputable Q1 Elsevier's jouranal #Construction and #buildng #materials
Each year, a significant amount of #construction_waste (CW) is produced globally, creating a major #environmental_challenge for its proper disposal. Utilizing #recyclable CW in #pavements not only helps address #environmental issues but also conserves non-renewable materials. This study aims to investigate and assess the #effectiveness of substituting #recycled waste travertine stone powder (RWTSP) as a mineral filler (MF) in the microsurfacing surface treatment mixing plan.
It is available at the following address:

I would like to thank coauthors especially Amin for his endeavour.
