🇵🇸 Palestine E4: We’re not aware of any activity during the catastrophic current events which amount to genocide and as the world is now aware of the plight of the Palestinians it’s important to note that as far as Amateur Radio in the 1948 Occupied lands is concerned (4X/4Z) the Zionist authorities have given licenses to over 1,000 Jewish Zionist citizens but not one single Arab. This is the only country remaining on the Amateur Radio map where discrimination based on religion and indigenous ethnicity prevails. Amateur Radio basic principles are overcoming borders of religion, nationality and any other status. On Air radio amateurs do not discuss religion or politics thus making the hobby universal. During the height of the Cold War between East and West we were thus able to continue amateur radio communications between citizens on both sides of the Iron Curtain with licenses issued to citizens in communist countries as well as capitalist ones. This fundamental principle of amateur radio being open to all irrespective of religion or ethnicity is being ignored by the Zionist entity occupying Palestine.
