πŸ’« Preparing for Cohort 5: C5+O.N.E. Pre-Test Completed!

From July 7 to 29, over 330 professionals from more than 14 organizations, including ministries, government agencies, and universities, took part in the C5+O.N.E. (Opening Networks through English) Program’s pre-test phase in Tashkent, Nukus, Andijan, and Fergana. Participants completed the adaptive KTE (Kaplan Test of English) exam to assess their English proficiency.

Funded by the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and implemented by the American Councils for International Education, the C5+O.N.E. Program helps Central Asian business, government, and non-profit professionals working across various sectors of the economy in strengthening their English communication skills through 180 hours of student-centered instruction delivered over three trimesters. Based on the test results, selected participants will join Cohort 5 and begin their learning journey.

Beyond language instruction, C5+O.N.E. serves as a powerful platform for professional growth and regional engagement, offering participants opportunities to attend regional conferences and workshops. These events foster collaborative networks and promote cross-border dialogue throughout Central Asia.

The C5+O.N.E. Program is more than just English lessons – it's a transformative platform that nurtures professional networks, fosters regional connectivity, and empowers Central Asian professionals working across various sectors of the economy, and opens the door to meaningful U.S.-Central Asia dialogue and cross-border integration.
