πŸ“FEP Fellow Learns about Innovative Teaching Approaches

βœ…FEP fellow Daniyarbek Razmukhamedov – a faculty member of Tashkent Chemical and Technological Institute – is currently being hosted by Rutgers.

🎯During his fellowship, he says he has learned a lot from his host institution colleagues. He described the recent lab in which he participated as resembling a science fiction movie! The lab featured a demonstration of how magnetic fields work using liquid nitrogen.

πŸ“ŒDaniyarbek said: β€œIt was really very colorful and informative. I learned about the creation of something new and innovative that could surprise the world, as well as improve the learning process. FEP provides an opportunity not only to develop, but to gain extensive experience studying innovative approaches in teaching and technical disciplines”.

🎯One’s Destination is never a Place, but a Journey Toward a New Way of Seeing Things

βœ…Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP) Fellow Malikajon Fayzieva from Bukhara State University is currently being hosted by the University of Arkansas. She has been observing courses on, Curriculum Development and Instructional Planning etc.

πŸ“ŒMalikajon says: β€œStudying abroad is about experiencing a foreign country β€” and the most beautiful and important part of a country’s culture is its people. I was amazed by the culture of American people when I had lunch in an American family. Also, I was excited when the University of Arkansas gave me a new bicycle to travel around. For me it is a new concept - walking and cycling are the best ways to get around a city!”

πŸ”ΈMalikajon has also attended the International Students and Scholars team and events, such as ICT and Conversation Club – where she enjoys sharing about her culture and learning about the cultures of other international students and scholars.
