HDFC & HDFCB MERGER MSCI POTENTIAL+VE FLOWS IMPACT

With the merger being announced and HDFC being merged with HDFCB, there is potential for HDFCB to be included in the MSCI index. Currently HDFCB is not included in the msci index as the stake of HDFC in HDFCB is considered as FII. Post merger with the stake being relinquished / reduced, there is a potential for HDFCB to be included in the MSCI Index.
