*Behind the sun temple is a huge sun lake that never dries. *
This sun temple is located in Bundu about 40 kilometers from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.
Pradhan Singh Munda ji donated the land for the construction of the temple. Pradhan Singh Munda was a resident of the nearby village Edlahatu. Pradhan ji was very straightforward, simple and innocent, because of which everyone around him believed him a lot.
It was a long time ago when the Sun was not temple, then one day while going to Tata from Ranchi, Sitaram Maru ji stayed at a hotel that place, only then he met Pradhan Singh Munda. Pradhan Singh Munda told Sitaram Maru ji that he wants to donate his land for the temple. Then Sitaram Maru ji established this temple.
*A giant bee hive on its dome is seen every season but these bees have never been harmed. *
Large chariot wheels around the Sun temple, Lord Sun God sitting with seven horses just in front of the Sun temple.
Behind the sun temple is a huge sun lake that never dries. Most people use this pond water for shops on the day of Sun temple fair.
On the auspicious occasion of Chhath Maha Parva in the pond, many people come here and offer Arghya to the Sun God.
Every year there is a huge tussu fair on 25th January at the temple, otherwise it seems on 26th January but not that big. People come from far - far to see the fair. People from all Panchpargana region must come to this fair because people get a lot of their use stuff here.
