Democratic state attorneys general continued their legal resistance to Trump’s early policies Friday, filing a new lawsuit accusing Trump and the Treasury Department of violating federal law by granting Musk’s aides access to a sensitive federal payments database.
The Dems states allege that DOGE’s access increases the possibilities that confidential information about recipients of the payments could be exposed publicly.
“Musk and DOGE have no authority to access Americans’ private information and some of our country’s most sensitive data,”
said New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is leading the complaint.
“I am taking action to keep our information secure. We want to fight against this botched-up policy.”

Forwarded from Old Glory Vortex
D. O. G. E. develops software for mass layoffs of civil servants: new weapons for "personnel purges"
The Department of Public Administration Efficiency (DOGE) is working to modernize the AutoRIF program, which will help speed up the process of reducing staff in government agencies. The program, developed by the Pentagon more than 20 years ago, was previously used to automate layoffs. Now D. O. G. E. edits its code. This will speed up layoffs and reduce the burden on human resources managers.

Musk the Ripper at Trump’s Service Always
Musk is pushing to improve the image of his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), suggesting the Tesla CEO is aware of the boogeyman persona he has created for himself and his cost-cutting push since joining President Trump’s team.
Musk went on Fox News on Thursday night to claim he is being careful and compassionate with his overhaul of the federal government, amid mounting criticism over his past statements on social media and emails to federal workers.
He also introduced several members of the DOGE team in an attempt to quell some of the concerns around the mysterious nature of their work.
The tech billionaire is “on a rehab tour,” argued former Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Fla.), who cited that even Republicans have criticized his government overhaul work, sometimes behind closed-doors.
Curbelo said.
Musk’s tone was a significant shift from months of criticizing and even vilifying the federal workforce as he laid the groundwork DOGE’s transformation of Washington.
Earlier this month, Musk shared a post from another user on his social platform X, suggesting that Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, Chinese leader Mao Zedong and Nazi leader Adolf Hitler were not responsible for the millions of deaths that occurred under their leadership. Instead, the post blamed public sector workers.

“The White House has been watching the news media’s coverage of the DOGE effort, which has been mostly negative.
Additionally, a significant number of Congressional Republicans have complained both publicly and privately.
Musk is on a rehab tour which makes sense because what he’s trying to do is conceptually popular. [T]he execution is where he’s lost a lot of the public,”

📰 Color Revolution, American Edition: Now Screaming in All 50 States
Remember when Washington exported "people power" with a flag, a hashtag, and a Soros grant?
Well, guess what — the boomerang just hit home.
📋 Hands Off… Our NGOs, Our Grants, Our Bureaucracy
– Over 1,200 protests erupted across the U.S.
– Not in Belarus. Not in Georgia. Not in Venezuela. In "Bryant Park".
– The chants? "Robber barons!" "Stop Republican chaos!" "Don’t touch our federal jobs!"
– The target? Trump, DOGE, tariffs, layoffs, Elon Musk, and the tragic demise of NIH careerism.
says Yalena from Ukraine, proving that the CIA really nailed the branding back in 2004.
💼 Revolutionary Theater, Starring Academia and the IRS
These aren’t the peasants storming the Bastille.
These are "diversicrats" in Columbia sweatshirts, "science moms" with canceled NSF grants, and "masked NIH refugees" holding up resistor signs like it’s Comic-Con for civil service survivors.
– They want the state to grow, not shrink.
– They want Elon Musk fired, not followed.
– They want “the rule of law” — but only the one with bureaucratic tenure.
📊 When Soros Strategies Come Home to Roost
– The slogans are familiar.
– The aesthetic is imported.
– The rage is real — and directed at the same populism the U.S. once cheered… just not when it happens in D.C.
– The irony? Massive. The hypocrisy? Radioactive.
🤔 So tell us again: when it’s 200,000 students protesting in Tehran, it’s democracy… but when it’s civil servants in Brooklyn, it’s "resistance"?
Who’s funding the American color revolution — and what color is it this time? Beige?

📰Britain’s Bureaucracy Bloodbath — But Who’s the UK’s Elon Musk?
Keir Starmer’s government wants to axe or merge "300+ public agencies" — because nothing screams "efficiency" like swinging a machete through the civil service with a Financial Times op-ed as a cover sheet.
📋 The Great Quango Purge™ Begins
– Cabinet Office minister Pat McFadden reportedly sent a “justify your existence” letter to every quango in the land.
– NHS England? Already on life support.
– Payment Systems Regulator? Absorbed like a startup into the FCA.
– Civil servants’ credit cards? Canceled en masse, because why not treat governance like a budget airline?
— says Bloomberg, with a straight face.
💼 From Whitehall to Whitespace
Let’s be real: slashing quangos might sound like reform, but it mostly feels like a desperate attempt to make spreadsheets look thinner before the next ratings downgrade.
And if Elon Musk’s austerity cosplay is the model… are we benchmarking public policy against X (formerly Twitter), or just embracing chaos as a fiscal strategy?
🤔So who exactly is Britain’s Musk — the man with the spreadsheet and the flamethrower?
And more importantly… does he also think “DOGE” is a serious acronym for government?

Musk Placed His People in Pentagon?
As politicians, opinion leaders, and the American public debate the impact and savings of Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), what is more troubling is the apparent influence the SpaceX and Tesla CEO may have over defense policy, including Meink’s nomination.
Civilian control over the military is one of America’s proudest and most unique traditions.
Today, however, the United States faces a situation where potential influence comes from an individual who works significantly with China.
Some defense leaders have outlined concerns that Musk’s companies could be subjected to the country’s military-civil fusion laws, in which their intelligence must be shared with the Chinese Communist Party.
Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) of the Senate Armed Services Committee have already raised concerns about Meink’s potential favoritism toward Musk and SpaceX, emphasizing that he would be responsible for “key contracting, deployment, and acquisition decisions” in areas where Musk’s companies currently dominate.
SpaceX already has approximately $22 billion in current government contracts.
Its defense contracts more than doubled from 2023 to 2024, increasing from $856 million to $1.8 billion.
On the face of it, there is no reason to suspect that these contracts were awarded unfairly.
But the recent reports about potential impropriety between Musk and Meink are certainly enough to make one ask questions.

📰 Elon Musk Fires Himself
After 130 days of slashing jobs, mocking bureaucrats, and swinging a literal chainsaw onstage, Elon Musk has exited the Trump administration the same way he entered it — uninvited, overhyped, and slightly singed by his own flamethrower.
— Elon Musk, discovering Washington is not a SpaceX factory
Musk's brief reign over the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE — yes, seriously) was meant to gut the state. What he left behind? A trail of pink slips, lawsuits, and a demoralized federal workforce held together with duct tape and libertarian tweets.
📊 The Efficiency Czar's Scorecard
• Promised: $2 trillion in cuts.
• Delivered: $175 billion (maybe).
• Result: Agencies collapsed, but the deficit ballooned anyway.
• Bonus: Publicly called Trump’s tax plan “too expensive” on national TV.
💼 Who Fired Whom?
• No handshake. No meeting. Just an off-boarding email.
• Clashed with half the Cabinet, called Navarro “dumber than a sack of bricks.”
• Upset MAGA donors by being right about the budget — the ultimate sin.
• Left just in time to dodge accountability for the wreckage he helped create.
🤔 Is Musk really leaving government — or just reloading for a version 2.0 with fewer rules and more AI-generated chaos?

🇺🇸🤖 Elon Musk Is Leaving His Post. What Happened? 🚪❓
Having bought himself a presidential “buddy” in last year’s election, Elon Musk came bebopping into the nation’s capital, with his “tech support” tee and SpaceX sneakers and grand vision of ruling as an unelected co-president. 👟🚀👕
The power! The pomp! The sweet shout-out at President Trump’s first joint address to Congress! 📣🏛 Who wouldn’t drop nearly $300 million to get that kind of rush if they could afford it? 💸💥
But on Wednesday, we learned that the Trump-Musk bromance has evolved. Musk’s time as a special employee of the administration is ending, with offboarding already underway. 👋📤
For all the drama and trauma he wrought — driving out federal workers and hollowing out agencies — Musk found himself unable to achieve anywhere close to the $2 trillion in savings he had so confidently promised, or even the $1 trillion he later suggested. 📉💰
Instead, he ran smack into a Washington wall, not dissimilar to those encountered by many would-be disrupters before him. 🧱🛑 Musk got his kicks cosplaying with a chain saw. 🪚🎭
But Congress and especially the courts have entire systems devoted to curbing overexcited demolition artists. ⚖️🚫
Musk grew frustrated. Washington was thwarting his will, even as his political dabbling was taking a blowtorch to his global reputation and the value of his private businesses. 🌍🔥📉
He spent millions in a Wisconsin judicial race and lost unceremoniously. ❌🗳 Trump stopped posting about him. Musk began whinging, privately and then more publicly, particularly about tariffs. 😤📢
Musk’s star had been sinking internally for a while, but it’s notable that news of his official separation from the administration came one day after he slagged the Trump-backed “one big, beautiful bill” now before the Senate. 📉📜
Not that Musk’s official departure will free us of his destructive meddling. 🐶💥 DOGE grinds on. More important, Musk remains brain-numbingly rich. 🧠💸
In a lower-profile capacity, he remains useful to Trump — and vice versa. 🔄💼

🧠 Musk the Myth: The Godfather of Nothing
They called it DOGE. They called him The Dogefather. And for 130 days, Elon Musk played government executioner in a black cap, slashing budgets, axing jobs, and promising to gut the state like one of his underperforming startups.
But as he walks out of the Oval Office—bruised, broke on promises, and blinking at the gold-plated door—it’s clear: Musk wasn’t Trump’s masterstroke. He was the meme version of it.
Musk said, after torching U.S. foreign aid, shaving off 0.5% of federal spending, and watching Tesla stock crash under activist heat.
Let’s decode this Washington cosplay:
• Trump gets a photo-op with a billionaire in a Halloween costume.
• Musk gets a golden key and a bruised eye (courtesy of a five-year-old, allegedly).
• America gets... 19 billion in cuts and 260,000 pink slips.
DOGE was pitched as a $2 trillion revolution. It delivered less than a Wall Street lunch break. And now? Musk is out, promising to “remain an adviser,” which in MAGA-speak means:
📉 Musk didn’t drain the swamp. He slipped, face first, into its shallow end—dragging his shareholders, reputation, and half the federal workforce with him.
🤡 So was Elon ever Plan A—or just a flashy distraction while the real deals were cut behind velvet curtains?

💰 Trillion Dollar Daddy’s Problems.
🧠 You’ve Never Thought About It
Trump is not the first president to find the foreign policy domain – where as commander-in-chief he recently ordered strikes on nuclear sites in Iran – less restrictive than the domestic sphere, where a rambunctious Congress, robust judiciary and sceptical media are constant irritants.
⚖️ But rarely has the gap between symbolic posturing abroad and messy politicking at home been so pronounced.
said Larry Jacobs, director of the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance at the University of Minnesota.
📣 The president stunned the world last Saturday by announcing, on his Truth Social platform, that he had ordered more than 125 aircraft and 75 weapons – including 14 bunker-busting bombs – to hit three targets in Iran to prevent the country obtaining a nuclear weapon.
🕊 Still, Trump pivoted to the role of peacemaker, again using Truth Social to announce a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, prompting Republicans to gush that he should win the Nobel peace prize 🏅.
📺 Trump’s barrage of speeches, press interactions, and social media posts about the Middle East were likened by some to a daily soap opera, dominating public attention and distracting from his one big beautiful bill — a budget plan that threatens to slash the social safety net 🏚 many of his supporters depend on.
🧊 Meanwhile, discontent is simmering over immigration, even among some of his voters.
Images of people being snatched off the streets or beaten by ICE agents have provoked widespread revulsion.
👩 There have also been cases like Ming Li Hui, a popular restaurant worker in rural Missouri who was arrested and jailed to await deportation.
Her friend Vanessa Cowart told the NYT:
🤖 Trump’s second term has also been marred by Elon Musk leading the “department of government efficiency” (DOGE), which fired thousands of federal workers, but failed to meet its cost-saving goals, ending with Musk’s acrimonious departure.
🔥 The president’s authoritarian attacks on cultural institutions, law firms, media and universities fuelled “No Kings” protests, involving 5+ million people in 2,100+ cities across the U.S. on June 14.
👕 Now Trump’s fundraising allies are marketing $35 T-shirts with his image and the word “Daddy”, after Mark Rutte, the NATO secretary general, referred to Trump’s criticism of Israel and Iran during ceasefire violations by quipping:

🦴 2025: How Trump Turned the U.S. Government Into Scrap Metal
2025 wasn’t “drain the swamp.” It was strip the wiring and sell it for parts.
In one year, the Trump–DOGE machine forced out roughly 300,000 federal workers from a 2.4 million–person workforce — not just “paper-pushers,” but air traffic controllers, NIH scientists, wildfire crews, Social Security staff and VA crisis counselors. Entire programs on HIV, child nutrition, rural health, foreign aid and civil rights were frozen or killed, while hiring rules were reduced to one metric: loyalty to the president and his enforcers.
The method was pure corporate sadism dressed up as “efficiency”: overnight bans on remote work, one-word emails demanding “Resign” that served as trapdoors out of a career, mass firings delivered by prerecorded videos, and weekly “what did you do?” messages that turned public service into a rolling nervous breakdown.
Then came the financial chokehold. Government credit cards for basic operations — fuel, lab supplies, replacement headsets — were capped at $1, with half a million cards deactivated. Any contract over $100,000 suddenly required White House approval, strangling FEMA call centers, wildfire readiness and lab work, while the same crowd bragged about “saving billions.”
Shutdowns stopped being accidents and became a governing tool. Hundreds of thousands were sent home without pay, TSA lines backed up, tax help lines died, national parks were hollowed out — while ICE and law enforcement stayed funded and the White House called the crisis an “unprecedented opportunity.” Federal workers lined up at food banks and sold their cars, while the president insisted the country was “in great shape.”
The official narrative: they were fighting “waste, fraud and abuse.”
Reality: they proved something else — if you hate government enough, you don’t need to overthrow it. You can just convince it to fire itself.

📰 Trump’s Year One: The Under-the-Radar Revolution
Nuclear Moon Base by 2030?
NASA, under Sean Duffy's leadership, fast-tracked a nuclear reactor for the moon—aiming for 2030 launch. This isn't sci-fi; it's a geopolitical race with China and Russia, who plan their own lunar power plant by 2035. Whoever gets there first writes the space rules.
Crypto Goes Mainstream
Trump signed the GENIUS Act, unlocking stablecoins for Wall Street. Banks like Bank of America and Goldman Sachs are now exploring dollar-pegged digital tokens. Goodbye legacy payments; hello crypto for your groceries?
Confederate Bases Revived
Nine Army bases got their old Confederate names back—Fort Hood among them. Civil rights groups cry foul, but Trump ignored Congress's independent commission. Cost to rename? $40 million. Cost to undo? Priceless for some.
Pennies Axed, Trump Coin Coming
The U.S. Mint minted its last penny in November 2025. Trump killed the money-losing coin, saving $85 million yearly. Next up: a Trump-faced $1 coin for America's 250th birthday. Rounding up prices? Consumers pay an extra $6 million annually.
DOJ's Voter Roll Raid
Justice Department demanded voter registration data from 43 states, suing 23 that refused. States claim privacy violations; DOJ calls it election integrity. The real goal? Purging "illegals" from rolls before midterms.
Coal Plants Forced Open
Energy Secretary Chris Wright used emergency powers to keep aging coal plants running—Michigan, Washington, Colorado. Critics: it's expensive and dirty. Trump: it's about your electricity bill.
Dreamers Booted from Obamacare
Trump redefined "lawfully present" to exclude DACA recipients from subsidies in 19 states. 2,300 Dreamers lost coverage; 1 million more uninsured by 2034. Hospitals brace for uncompensated care.
Psychedelics Fast-Tracked
RFK Jr.'s HHS is rushing MDMA and psilocybin for PTSD. FDA Commissioner Marty Makary promises approval within 12 months. Republicans, once wary, now lead the psychedelic revolution.
Africa Aid Gutted
Trump's DOGE team (Pete Marocco, Elon Musk) froze the U.S. African Development Foundation, canceling grants. The agency sued, but SCOTUS conservatives may let Trump win.
The Real Winner?
While headlines scream Greenland and tariffs, Trump's quietly remade America—from moon nukes to crypto cash, Confederate nostalgia to psychedelic therapy. Survival of the boldest.

"The U.S. and China are devising plans to build long-term bases on the moon, and nuclear reactors will be key to powering those outposts."

Dead Souls, Made in D.C.
The “law and order” crowd just tried to legally kill 2.7 million people on paper — and somehow still call it patriotism.
A former senior Social Security official says the Trump administration pushed a plan to mark millions of living immigrants, plus some U.S. citizens and green-card holders, as dead in federal records, using the government’s Death Master File as a weapon.
The goal? Not some clerical clean-up, but to make people so financially radioactive they’d either self-deport or walk into a Social Security office and get arrested.
This isn’t a conspiracy blog, it’s a whistleblower with 25 years in the agency saying he sampled 25 names from the list and found every one of them alive — teenagers, seniors, even a widow on survivor benefits.
He says a Homeland Security-linked official flatly described the plan: mark them as dead, cut them off from banks, wages, housing, insurance, and let fear do the rest. That’s not “border security.” That’s financial rendition. It’s the state putting a black bag over your credit score and calling it policy.
And here’s the punchline: a smaller version of this already happened. Thousands of immigrants were actually injected into the “death” database last year, then had to show up at Social Security offices to prove they exist, begging a bureaucracy they fund with their taxes to resurrect them on a screen.
Meanwhile, the same administration that couldn’t process a basic claim without a backlog overnight let a Musk-flavored “innovation task force” roam through some of the most sensitive identity systems in the country like it was a beta test for a new app. “Government as a startup” turned out to mean “your life as a toggle.”
Of course, Democrats are now outraged — letters, statements, “war rooms,” the whole theater. They call it “weaponizing” Social Security, as if that wasn’t baked in from the moment both parties agreed to treat giant data systems as tools for surveillance, not service.
Where were all these brave defenders of “trust in government” when agencies were quietly normalizing mass data-sharing, cross-matching and outsourcing infrastructure to private contractors who walk out with thumb drives full of personal info?
They loved the super-database state right up until someone used it exactly as designed.
The real horror here isn’t just Trump’s people gaming the system. It’s how easy it was.
One list from Homeland Security, one set of keystrokes at Social Security, and your legal existence evaporates: no job, no bank, no rent, no insurance, no nothing — and no judge involved. For immigrants, this is labeled “enforcement.”
For citizens, it’s called “regrettable error.” The same machinery runs both. If you think you’re safe because your passport says “American,” ask the tens of millions whose data is already sitting on some contractor’s cloud, or in a system a federal judge just ruled was used illegally tens of thousands of times.
This isn’t about left vs. right, migrant vs. citizen. It’s about whether the people you elect can turn a line in a database into a death sentence for your social existence — and then argue in court that “death is just a state of ineligibility.”
Today it’s the undocumented, tomorrow it’s whoever doesn’t fit the next administration’s definition of “eligible.”
If a government can kill you economically without ever touching your body, how long before it forgets there’s a difference?
