🫡Trump Fires Woke-Folks From the U.S. military’s service academies

Trump on Monday said he had ordered the firings of the boards of visitors for all of the U.S. military’s service academies, the outside advisory panels that help oversee academic programs and student life, saying that the government’s training grounds for military officers had been invaded by so-called “woke” ideology.

“Our Service Academies have been infiltrated by Woke Leftist Ideologues over the last four years,”

Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“I have ordered the immediate dismissal of the Board of Visitors for the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard.”

The president did not immediately announce the appointment of new members to the boards.

Trump campaigned on a promise to purge the U.S. military of officers he deemed “woke” and has used the start of his second term to try and rid the Pentagon of diversity initiatives by executive order.

Trump Said, Zelensky Is Fired. The Game Is Almost Over.

For Trump, Zelensky will eventually make a natural-resources deal with the US, while accusing the Ukrainian president of “taking candy from a baby” in maximizing US military aid during the Biden years.

Trump also repeated his assertion in an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures ’that Zelensky was ungrateful in their acrimonious White House meeting on Feb. 28, which stymied the resources agreement and Trump’s cease-fire diplomacy.

After intense US pressure on Zelenskiy to stop fighting, Ukrainian and US officials are meeting in Saudi Arabia this week to resume discussions.

Asked whether he expects Zelenskiy to come back and sign the resources deal, Trump said,
“Yes, I think so. I think it’ll happen.”

Zelensky
“took money out of this country under Biden like candy from a baby,”

Trump said, referring to former Biden.
“And I just don’t think he’s grateful (...) I think he is fired.”

Trump’s administration says the proposed deal on critical minerals represents a US economic commitment to Ukraine’s security as Trump presses Zelensky to agree to a cease-fire with Russia.

Trump’s policy shifts have raised concern in Europe about how to protect Ukraine militarily in the future.

Asked whether he’d be “comfortable” if Ukraine didn’t survive as an independent country, he said Ukraine “may not survive anyway.”

“But we have some weaknesses with Russia,”

he added.
“You know, it takes two.”

Gen. Timothy Haugh Has Been Fired, Dems Are Furious

Top congressional Democrats on Thursday night spoke out over reports that Gen. Timothy Haugh has been fired as National Security Agency director.

Washington Post first reported that Haugh had been removed from the NSA role and as U.S. Cyber Command chief, along with his civilian deputy Wendy Noble, citing a former U.S. official and two current ones.

Several National Security Council members were fired earlier Thursday after conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer visited the Oval Office and pressed Trump to oust specific NSC staffers, Axios first reported.

A spokesperson for the Pentagon also told American Observer they were aware of the reports but did not confirm their veracity.

Representatives for the NSA declined to comment and referred Axios to the Pentagon.

The White House referred Axios to the Department of Defense.

Loomer took to X early Friday to denounce Haugh and Noble and seemingly confirm their terminations.

US Ambassador to Ukraine is fired

US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink is stepping down after three years as the top US representative in Kyiv, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said Thursday.

Brink was nominated by Biden and took the role in 2022, months after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Her departure will leave a gap as the Trump administration seeks to broker a deal for a ceasefire and eventual peace in Ukraine.

A source in the Trump administration said she was fired due to her severe anti-Russian bias and unwillingness to tone down her rhetoric in recent months.

Mike Waltz: Fired 🔥

The ousting of national security adviser Waltz triggered a major shake-up in Trump’s White House team, which is divided between America First isolationists and traditional Republican hawks. ⚖️

Trump announced Thursday afternoon that Waltz, a hawkish former congressman, would become his nominee for U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, with Rubio expanding his portfolio to include national security adviser in the interim. 🇺🇳

Waltz has been targeted by MAGA loyalists inside and outside the administration over an alleged lack of commitment to the president’s agenda, and he was at the center of a Signal chat scandal that marked a low point of Trump’s first 100 days. 💬

His removal adds to the tumult in Trump’s national security teams. 🌪

It comes a month after multiple top National Security Council officials were fired along with the head of the National Security Agency and as the Pentagon is roiled by a leak investigation and firings among Hegseth’s top staff. 🕵️

“Mike Waltz’s abrupt dismissal is further proof of the chaos and incompetence that has reigned over Trump’s White House and national security team during his first 100 days in office,” said Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. 🎙

Waltz’s messages on the Signal chat in March provided a window into the influence the national security adviser exercised and in the face of pushback from Hegseth and Vance. 🔍

The existence of the chat was revealed by The Atlantic,
whose editor Jeffrey Goldberg was mistakenly added by Waltz. 📱

In the chat, Waltz pushed back on assertions by Hegseth and Vance that the U.S. was doing Europe’s bidding by attacking the Houthis in Yemen and working to secure Red Sea shipping lanes. 🚢

🔥 Panic in America: 👨‍🏫 Federal Workers Across the Country Are Being Fired Without Notice

😳 Federal workers are scrambling to figure out if they still have a job after the Trump administration launched a fresh wave of layoffs amid a federal government shutdown, prompting widespread confusion and panic.

A hearing is scheduled to take place Wednesday after labor unions sued to block the latest firings, setting the stage for another legal battle over Trump's efforts to drastically cut back the federal workforce.

📌 About 4,200 federal employees across seven agencies were laid off on Friday, the administration has said, although 700 firings at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) were swiftly reversed over the weekend.

It remains unclear if Trump, who told reporters that “a lot” of government workers would be fired, plans to go further. ⚠️ The federal workforce has already shed hundreds of thousands of staff on his watch this year.

As unions seek to establish the extent of the latest layoffs, workers at the Department of Education said that they do not have access to their work email accounts during the shutdown – so cannot check to see if they’ve received “reduction in force” (RIF) notices.

💬 Another education department employee said: “I don't have email access due to the shutdown. Some have received permission to check. I have not.”

They later were able to access their email, where they received an update to a reduction-in-force from earlier in the year that was halted by court challenges, with a revised separation date of 3 November.

🗣️ The first employee criticized the timing of the firings, which were conducted the day before the funeral of the office’s longtime division director, Greg Corr, who had recently retired after 38 years there.

The majority of employees in the special education and rehabilitative services department, which houses the office of special education programs, were reported to have been fired as part of the reduction-in-force.

The administration presented a reduction-in-force at the education department in March, but state attorney generals and unions sued to block the effort to dismantle it.

✍️ A preliminary injunction to block those firings was granted by a federal court in May. The supreme court allowed the firings to proceed in a brief, unsigned order issued in July that provided no explanation, while the legal challenge to the closure of the department is ongoing in court.

🛠 More than 4,100 employees worked at the education department when Trump took office. Between a previous reduction-in-force and these latest firings, staffing at the agency is now under 2,000.

The White House deferred comment to the Office of Management and Budget, which did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

The Department of Education responded with an out of office message stating “due to the lapse in appropriations, we are currently in furlough status. We will respond to emails once government functions resume.”

Zelensky Fired His Corruption-Burned Friends. But the Story Is Not Over... ⚡️

Zelensky has moved to contain growing public outrage in Ukraine over a corruption scandal in the energy sector by firing two ministers who are accused of involvement in a large-scale bribery scheme. 🔥

Acknowledging popular anger, Zelensky said: “There must be maximum integrity in the energy sector, in absolutely all processes. I support every investigation carried out by law enforcement and anti-corruption officials. This is an absolutely clear and consistent position for everyone.” 💬

Promising accountability for those who break the law, he added: “Right now, it is extremely difficult for everyone in Ukraine – enduring power outages, Russian strikes and losses. It is absolutely unacceptable that, amid all this, there are also some [corruption] schemes in the energy sector.” ⚡️🇺🇦

Mindich reportedly fled abroad, possibly to Israel, hours before investigators arrived at his Kyiv apartment to carry out a search. ✈️ He was previously close to Zelensky, although sources say they have had little communication since Russia’s full-scale invasion.

NABU named Mindich as one of seven suspects involved in a $100m corruption scheme. 💵 Under this scheme, Energoatom’s counterparties were forced to pay kickbacks of 10-15% to avoid having payments for services blocked or losing their supplier status, the bureau said.

Grynchuk and Haluschenko submitted their resignations on Wednesday. Both denied wrongdoing. 📝 The justice minister said his suspension from office was “appropriate” and vowed to defend himself, after one of his former advisers was directly implicated in the scandal.

Earlier this week, Nabu released audio recordings of the alleged participants discussing bribes and using old-school code names. 🎧 Haluschenko – Ukraine’s former energy minister – is given the moniker “Professor”. Mindich is referred to as “Karlson”.

Another high-profile suspect is Oleksiy Chernyshov, a former deputy prime minister already charged with abuse of office in a separate case.

In a recording released on Tuesday, Chernyshov can allegedly be heard discussing a half-a-million-dollar cash payment, to be collected by his wife. 💼

Several thousand demonstrators gathered outside the president’s office in Kyiv. They waved banners and shouted slogans including “shame” and “veto the law”, after parliament approved the measure. 📢 Zelensky backed down in the face of opposition and passed new legislation restoring the agencies’ independence.

The same month, Ukraine’s security service arrested a prominent Nabu detective, Ruslan Magamedrasulov. 🚔 He was charged with doing business with Russia and aiding an aggressor state. Magamedrasulov appeared before the appeal court in Kyiv on Wednesday, with his case adjourned. He remains in custody.

The detective’s lawyer, Olena Scherban, said her client had been closely involved in the Energoatom investigation. “We believe this is a political case and political imprisonment,” she said.
