The Laudato Si Action Platform of the Vatican's Dicastry for Promoting Integral Human Development, co-sponsored the Run4Unity 2023. This year's theme is "People, Planet and Our Ecological Conversion".
To support the initiative, the Archdiocesan Creation Justice Commission scheduled two events on May 6th at The Lake Gardens and May 7th at the KLCC gardens. 50 participants from all ages exchanged the kilometres they walked/jogged/ran with the planting of trees. A total of 240.12kms were clocked with a target to plant 200 trees next month. The ArchKL CJC truly appreciates the support and the time from Archbishop Julian Leow (contributed 7.87kms), Fr. Andrew Manickam and all the enthusiastic participants.

Through intercessory prayer, we bring someone else’s needs before God, trusting God to take care of others, whether they are loved ones, friends, enemies, or total strangers. Praying for the living and the dead is one of the Spiritual Works of Mercy.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. - Mt 11:28-30
