At the Chrism Mass this year, Archbishop Julian Leow said “Though we are told that ‘the priest is configured to Jesus Christ’, we acknowledge that we are far from the perfection of your expectations. Nevertheless, in all humility, I call on you, the people of God, to love your priests, care for us, seek to understand us, look out for our well-being, and most of all pray for us.”
