Loneliness is an existentiality reality. We will all experience at different times of our lives the challenge of being alone with no one around. Sometimes we might even be surrounded by crowds but still feel desperately lonely. The Uncontrolled  feeling of being utterly lonely can be so debilitating for many that it can lead to Depression, use of drugs/alcohol and  even suicidality. In this session Gerard discusses how loneliness can affect our neurochemistry and even health… as well as  how we can acquire new ways of thinking  and skills that allow us to not just cope  with loneliness but also thrive despite it.
