This is not correct.

It still must be decided by the trial court judge whether or not to advance Lake’s signature claim or dismiss it altogether.

The signature claim was sent back to the trial court for further review. No decision has been made yet.

The only change that has occurred, is that the state Supreme Court has finally made a decision regarding sanctions…

The pending sanctions were preventing trial court judge Thompson from moving forward. Now that they’ve resolved that issue, Thompson is free to make a ruling.

Hamadeh goes back to court on the 16th for oral argument. He’s asking for a new trial on the basis that Hobbs withheld Pinal’s recount results, and evidence uncovered regarding provisional ballots being wrongfully rejected.

Hamadeh has collected over 250 affidavits from voters who claim they were erroneously removed from the voter rolls and told that they were unable to legally cast a ballot.

Arizona voters were told the election went fine. Records show a county director saw glaring errors, cashed out, then fled.

By the time Virginia Ross appeared before Pinal County’s supervisors one last time, she had already sold her house.

The elections director just needed the supervisors to vote “yes” on Nov. 21, finalizing the November election, and she would be on her way to retirement.
“I stand by the results,” she assured them.

A lot hinged on this moment. After a primary election debacle in August, the county manager had brought Ross on to right the ship. The county paid her handsomely: more than $40,000 a month leading up to the election. That’s more than five times what the past two elections directors had made. Plus, she would get a $25,000 bonus if supervisors voted yes.

It would be another month before Arizona voters learned what internal evidence already showed — that Ross had botched the count in a way that excluded hundreds of votes from the original results, enough to nearly overturn the outcome of a statewide race.
