Lake has a very difficult task at trial. She must meet judge Thompson’s “clear and convincing” standard of proof regarding signature matching.

Lake’s argument is that level 2 signature matchers in Maricopa were overriding the decisions made at level 1.

Lake’s whistleblowers attest that tens of thousands of ballots were being flagged at level 1, then sent to level 2, and the level 2 workers were passing them through anyway.

The judge says, okay, prove it. Prove that this happened to more ballots than the margin of victory. Oh and also, prove it beyond a reasonable doubt even though this is a civil case, and make it quick because I’m an old corrupt bastard and it’s time for my nap.
