Normalization Formula used by GRE, CAT and other authorities has many flaws.
I want to quote two
1. The topper of all the slots mar marks could decrease
2. Worst - In the same slot if the raw mark of someone is 6 then his normalised marks could be 3.5 and if someone got 4 marks in the same spot his normalised marks could be 3.8. *so sometimes lesser is better*
Just For Reference: Normalization Does not mean Marks of topper would increase.
