🇧🇩 Bangladesh Air Force Training Jet Crashes Into Dhaka School
A Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training jet crashed into the Milestone School and College campus in Dhaka’s Uttara area on Monday afternoon, shortly after takeoff. The pilot has been identified as Flight Lt. Tauqir. At least one person was killed and four others were injured, including several students who sustained burn injuries as the plane caught fire after crashing into a school building where children were present.
Emergency teams from the Bangladesh Army and Fire Service responded immediately, rescuing victims and working to control the blaze. The Bangladesh Army’s public relations office and ISPR confirmed the aircraft belonged to the Air Force. The casualty count may rise as rescue operations continue, but fire officials have currently confirmed at least one death.
