ZCASH ENTERS SEPTEMBER WITH STRONG MOMENTUM

Zcash is starting September as one of the altcoins attracting increased market attention after a powerful August breakout.

According to a new BeInCrypto market analysis, ZEC is among the Top 5 altcoins to watch in September 2026, alongside a broader resurgence in privacy-focused assets.

ZEC broke above its previous cycle high near $750 on August 22, before reaching approximately $888 — its highest level in around eight years.

The next major technical area highlighted by the analysis sits around $903.

A clean move beyond that zone could put the next Fibonacci extension near $1,099 into focus, while the former breakout area around $750 remains an important level to watch if momentum cools.

After one of Zcash's strongest moves in years, September could become an important month for determining whether this breakout develops into a larger trend.

Crypto investor and Crypto Banter founder Ran Neuner has laid out an extremely bullish long-term thesis for $ZEC.

Speaking with Scott Melker, Neuner said he believes Zcash could emerge as a serious form of private money as demand for financial privacy continues to grow.

His valuation thesis is simple:
“If it’s just 10% of Bitcoin, it’s 10X from here. If it is Bitcoin, it’s 100X from here.”

Neuner points to growing support behind Zcash, institutional investment products and ZEC’s privacy capabilities as key parts of his thesis.

He also confirmed that Zcash is part of his own portfolio.
