📊 GLASSNODE:
86K IS BITCOIN’S KEY OVERHEAD SUPPLY ZONE

Bitcoin’s latest rally is approaching an important on-chain test.

Glassnode has identified a dense band of long-term holder supply between $83,000 and $86,000.

There is also more profitable BTC available to sell than the last time price traded around these levels.

When Bitcoin traded near $78K in May, roughly 65% of supply was in profit.

When BTC returned to the same area in late August, that figure had risen to 68%.

That does NOT mean holders will automatically sell.

It means a sustained breakout may need to absorb a larger pool of profitable supply before Bitcoin can establish higher ground.

🚨 I've been saying this for THREE years. It's not a drill. The legacy system is done. Beyond done. There is no way to fix it. The moment that reality hits the masses, things will break fast. I lived it in Lebanon. Others have lived it in Ukraine, Venezuela, and Iran. And

BITCOIN TRADES 24/7.
WALL STREET DOESN’T.

One thing worth remembering on weekends:
Bitcoin keeps trading globally, but U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs do not.

That means one major channel of regulated institutional demand is effectively paused until traditional markets reopen.

Institutions can still trade BTC through other venues, but ETF activity — which has become an increasingly important source of Bitcoin demand — won’t confirm the weekend move until Monday.

So when BTC makes a large Saturday or Sunday move, the important question is not only where price goes.

It’s whether institutional flows follow when Wall Street comes back online.

LIQUID NETWORK UPDATE❗️

"We are aware of a security incident on Liquid. Purported white-hat hackers have withdrawn ~4,000 BTC from the Liquid Federation wallet. Blockstream is working on contacting them on-chain with a signed message.

Funds were withdrawn via the SideSwap PAK (Peg-out Authorization Key), but that key was not compromised, nor were any others.

Exchanges have been notified and have already paused (or will pause) LBTC deposits and withdrawals. Other Liquid assets such as USDT, DePix, and RWAs are unaffected.

Bridge nodes have been temporarily disabled & no new transactions can be submitted to the network. The Liquid sidechain is paused until this issue is resolved.

Liquid wallets will be impacted, and we're sorry for any inconvenience. Federation members are actively working on resolving this to restore normal network activity.

Monitor the situation via mempool's liquid.network site: https://mempool.space/address/bc1qdlld6antmv4xug242ed83q7k4rqw50cwfns38szx4qu2f4jwaxxsuhwxxr"

🚨 BITCOIN SIDECHAIN LIQUID HIT BY ~$320M SECURITY INCIDENT

Liquid Network says roughly 4,000 BTC were withdrawn from its federation wallet in a major security incident reported Sunday.

The wallet held around 4,200 BTC.
Liquid described those responsible as “purported white-hat hackers” and said it halted new transactions as a precaution while investigating.

Importantly, Liquid said the cryptographic key used for the transactions was not compromised.

This distinction matters: the incident concerns Liquid — a Bitcoin sidechain — not a compromise of Bitcoin’s base-layer protocol.

A major security story for the Bitcoin ecosystem, and one worth watching as more details emerge.

🏦 BITCOIN ETFs JUST CLOSED A ~$987M INFLOW WEEK

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs ended last week with approximately $986.7M in net inflows.

Daily net flows:
• Aug. 31: +$216.7M
• Sept. 1: -$236.5M
• Sept. 2: +$101.1M
• Sept. 3: +$730.8M
• Sept. 4: +$174.6M

Despite Tuesday’s sharp outflow, institutional demand came back hard — with the final three sessions alone attracting more than $1 billion net.

BlackRock’s IBIT remained the dominant source of inflows across the week.

U.S. markets are closed today for Labor Day, so the next ETF trading session arrives Tuesday.
