Before storing data in blockchain, the Bookmap Car History Checker system will firstly validate them for a number of parameters, thus preventing fixation of all kinds of errors.
For example, if in the course of technical inspection or maintenance lower mileage than during repairs in another car service station was recorded, the mileage data is recorded in blockchain with a note that Bookmap cannot guarantee the reliability of odometer readings.
We cannot exclude the human factor when recording odometer readings, that is why we are going to develop a special function in a mobile application that will record odometer readings through additional validation algorithm using a smartphone or tablet camera.
In this way, you can identify a car with a flawless odometer history.

Hyperledger Fabric is a limited-access blockchain framework. It differs from public blockchains in which each user has all rights and opportunities, has access to reading of the data, can perform transactions and build blocks.
Hyperledger Fabric is an instrument that allows to establish private channels between the system members, thus providing opportunities of access to data and isolating only a certain user group. Since car history is a kind of information that has commercial value, only several resellers will likely have access to full history. Based on the above, it is possible to assert that Hyperledger Fabric meets the requirements of the Bookmap project.

STORING DATA IN BLOCKCHAIN. PART 2
To store car history the limited access to blockchain is a necessary requirement because in this case only authenticated users (car service stations and tech inspection services) will have the opportunity to enter data into Bookmap blockchain.
In any practical implementation of a Business Network in Hyperledger Fabric, the relationship between participants and assets has a clear description and a set of rules and rights. Each member of the network must be identified having received his/her own certificate.
In our case, in order to be able to enter data about the changes in car's mileage into blockchain, each tech inspection station and car service station are subject to mandatory identification. Data validation and verifying that car mileage cannot be decreasingly changed will be done in the analogue of smart contract that is available in Hyperledger Fabric. Other forms of validation will also be developed.
If any car service station is guilty of abusing its rights and providing incorrect information, it will be immediately excluded from the list of participants of the Bookmap Business Network.

The major global concerns, including Toyota and Daimler that are representatives of automotive industry, are already in the consortium, thus supporting given technological solution
In 2016, Toyota joined R3 CEV consortium, thus showing interest in blockchain technologies. Toyota is going to use blockchain in the management of supply networks as well as in automotive systems.
In 2017, Daimler AG joined the Hyperledger project under the leadership of Linux Foundation, whose IT executive director joined it as a member of the board of the project. This was an additional argument in favour of our choice of the Hyperledger technologies, as a key decision in the Bookmap project, on the basis of which we are going to build the car history keeping service in blockchain. Together with the Estonian 1ot.mobi startup we 28 are going to develop a reliable system for transmitting GPS data through IoT technologies and for storing data in blockchain.

Recently we wrote that Bookmap will provide third parties with paid API as an additional service. Any potential car buyer will be able to quickly and easily read the reliable history of all transactions involving the required car.
We envision that such a service will be highly demanded on the secondary automotive market and will eventually become the standard for any fair sales transaction and car maintenance.
Furthermore, on the basis of its own API Bookmap will offer a service of ready-to-use extended reports on car history.
Only a certain number of resellers will have access to valuable commercial information. This will be implemented using a reading rights mechanism in Hyperledger Fabric, where it is possible to limit the number of organizations that have access to the complete transaction log, or the history of the change of mileage data.

At the conference, we received good feedback on our project and ideas for improving it. We learned a lot of useful points on the cryptocurrency market and its regulation.
💼We have acquired a large number of useful contacts and partnerships: ICO Brothers, Spectrum pay, LBANK, XEBR, ICO Bench. We met with the advisors and intend to work with them.
Another good news is that the cryptocurrency funds were interested in us, so they have been interested in financing our project. We can’t disclose which ones yet, but everything will be known soon.

CANADIAN HOUSE FINANCE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS CRYPTOCURRENCY REGULATION TO PREVENT MONEY LAUNDERING
The Canadian House Finance Committee recommended the government to start regulating cryptocurrencies to prevent money laundering.
The Committee held 18 meetings, after which it put forward three recommendations for the regulation of cryptocurrency.
The first recommendation is to control the exchange of cryptocurrency and fiat, identifying the organization conducting the exchange as a business with cash.
The committee's second recommendation is that the government should require a license from cryptocurrency exchanges, similar to the New York BitLicense.
The last recommendation is to regulate cryptocurrency wallets in order to simplify the tracking of cash flows.
Regulation of cryptocurrency is being implemented worldwide more often. Most people understand that this is the best development option when all parties have profit. This is one of the ideas of Bookmap and we believe that we can find more positive points in honest way of business than in a lying one.

We are often told that when selling a car, everyone wants to hide its flaws.
It is clear that many market participants will not want to reveal the genuine car history for rather prosaic reasons: the willingness to hide car defects and sell it at a price that significantly exceeds its fair price.
Against this backdrop, Bookmap history appears: transparent and reliable, reflecting the real condition and cost of the vehicle. Then the buyer will have a choice: whether to buy a car with hidden problems that may occur at the most inappropriate moment or buy a car with reliable history.
Gradually a new standard of trust is being formed on the market: those cars that have blockchain history will be in high demand and will be sold at a much higher price.
In order to collect history, we will need the assistance of:
• car service stations;
• insurance services;
• dealer centres;
• national vehicle registers;
• our own projects and developments.
We are already working on building partnership with Estonian Transport Department and Toyota Baltic. In the near future we will concentrate our efforts on the further expansion of our partner network.
We believe that the complete history is impossible without the maintenance service data in a service station. We are setting about the task of designing such a platform-aggregator that will be able to record all visits to car service providers while remaining convenient and useful to a car owner.

According to a recent survey, over one third of big businesses in Germany consider Blockchain technology as revolutionary as the Internet
In addition to artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of things (IoT), blockchain technology is one of the current three areas of development with tremendous potential.
Conducted by the German Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (Bitkom), the survey revealed that overall, 15 percent of German companies think blockchain will “change society and the economy as much as the Internet.” Larger companies, with 500 or more employees, were more than twice as likely to hold that opinion, at 36 percent.
We assume that German car companies will not stand aside in front of the Blockchain technology either, following the example of Toyota Baltic, which collaborates with the Bookmap Ecosystem.

The most in-demand positions this year also include artificial intelligence (AI) specialists and machine learning engineers with a 12-fold increase in popularity compared to last year.
The Glassdoor report shows that as of August 2018, US companies posted 1,775 vacancies related to blockchain technology, which is three times more than the previous year. 79 percent of vacancies are concentrated in the 15 largest American cities, and the most saturated demand regions show that 24 percent and 21 percent of the total number of job offers in the cryptoindustry fall on New York and San Francisco.

Both firms signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore mutual opportunities in games, product development and blockchain technology.
Atari games will have built-in toggle-free tokens (NFTs). It is reported that the startup plans to publish its versions in the second half of 2019.
