Someone was indebted to the ton of 200 million naira in Kaduna and he learnt I was coming to town in June. June 29th. Meanwhile he has stopped coming to church to avoid embarrassment. He was owing banks and owing people, he was owing everywhere. But he said no, I am going to go there, nobody can harass me if Papa is there. Then the devil said to him 'does he know you?’ Does he know what you are facing?' He came anyway and his word came in that one night meeting. Everyone under the weight of indebtedness is set free today. Church Gist. He shouted the loudest and the longest amen. Wait a minute, everything began to turn from that moment. Good news everywhere. That was June 29th, he was giving his testimony last Sunday. He is free from every debt. Abandoned project completed, children back to school, brand new car, everything turned in one moment. That was not called showers of blessings yet he encountered blessings. This is now called showers of blessings. Whatever came with you as a weight, the blessing of God will flush it out. Whatever appears to be humiliating your redemption, Jesus will clear it today.
Under His showers, we are not permitted to be ashamed. He said my people shall never be ashamed.

We are concluding our teaching series today. Understanding The Ministry Of The Holy Spirit and today we are looking at the Holy Spirit as the seal of our protection. Church Gist. We live in a very wild and wicked world. See that precious family, they would have lost that precious daughter to fire but Jesus stepped in. Now they are standing on the altar to testify.
Ephesians 1:13.
What we have been doing since the beginning of these series is examine the diverse operations of the Holy Spirit that are all ordained for our help and to distinguish us among men. Church Gist. No one has access to the ministry of the Holy Spirit until he has first repented and accepted Christ as Lord and saviour. Acts 2:38. It comes after being born again.
Please beware of the trap of religion. Maybe your lack of repentance is the barrier against you receiving the Holy Spirit. Acts 3:19. You repent and you are converted and the evidence is the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith... They come along with salvation. Salvation has evidence, don't fake it. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 13:5. Being in church and being in the faith are two different things. My mother gave birth to me in church but she wasn't saved. When she got saved, things turned. Don't assume it. We are sealed with the spirit of promise after we believe. We enjoy a divine seal of protection after we believe. Psalm 105:13-15. They are sealed.
The Holy Ghost is the seal of our protection against the wickedness of the wicked. Church Gist. Someone came here years ago from the other side of the world and carried his machine of operation but when he entered, he saw fire on each one's head, everything he pressed didn't answer, when I made altar call, he just jumped out and gave his life to Christ.
TL Osborn was in Benin City many years ago and a man came on there with a rod, when they point that rod to a man, he will dry up and fall down. Church Gist. They pointed the rod to TL Osborn, the rod broke into two. The man carried the broken rod and went to give His life to Christ and testified what he came to do.
- Now, from this day on, every arrow shot in your direction will return to sender!
When you find some of us saying what we say, we are saying it based on insight. I'm sealed and you're sealed but you need to know it. I don't see any witch launch an attack and not pay gruesome price, including life because I'm consciously conscious of the seal of the Holy Ghost on my life. Isaiah 59:19. Church Gist. So, He takes on the fight without your permission, just be conscious of His being there. When they launch an attack against you, He rises up to the occasion by Himself. Says, "what? Are you blind and deaf? Come not near upon any man upon whom is the mark! What are you doing here?". He will put a hook in their nose and drag them away. Church Gist. That's the seal of the Holy Spirit. After you believe, it's your right to be baptized in the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues. Amen. Then you're sealed. In the midst of every accident, this is me (folding hands), "thank you Jesus". You will hear from me, "peace, be still!"
- In the precious name of Jesus, the days of being assaulted by the wicked and the agents of the wicked, they're over in your life.
How many are baptized in the Holy Ghost here, let me see your hand, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. This is not a club, this is Church. Church Gist. If you are, can I have you say with me, "I have the seal of the Holy Ghost over my life against all satanic assaults, against all agents of the wicked as given by the Lord". Isaiah 59:19.

1 John 5:18-19. No matter where you run to on this earth, there's a magnetic field of wickedness that is global. Church Gist. When a witch is tormenting someone and he leaves his country and goes to another place, they transfer the torment to the witches on the other side, so the torment continues. Church Gist. But we keep ourselves under the seal of the Holy Ghost, He's the one that has the mission to ward off every flood of attack on our lives.
- In the name of Jesus Christ, no one here shall be a victim anymore!
He keeps us by walking in line with His leading. When the Lord is your shepherd, He renders your enemy helplessly helpless. Psalm 23:5-6. Church Gist. His leading renders our enemies helpless, please subscribe to His leading. Can I hear your Amen? Subscribe to His leading. We saw a picture of this is Psalm 89:20-23. What a picture of assurance that with the seal of the Holy Ghost at work in your life, that's what happens - your enemies are brutalized and crushed. Psalm 89:23. Church Gist. "I will plague all that gang up to undo him". So, it's not a Church doctrine, the Holy Spirit is our Master Helper and among others, He shields us off the wickedness of the wicked.
Why do we need the seal of the Holy Spirit? Psalm 74:20. We are in a battle with spiritual forces in the realm of the unseen. Psalm 91:5-7.
Those forces are there in the realm of the unseen. That's why we need the Holy Spirit to deal with them. Jesus also painted the picture here in Luke 10:19. So we have scorpions and serpents on our road, on the way to your bedroom, the way to your dining hall, on the way to your car, “But I give unto you power!” Luke 10:19. Church Gist. So, it takes the power of the Holy Ghost to live above the hurts of the serpents and the scorpions that line up all our walking paths. That's why we need the Holy Spirit. This morning, for everyone who is saved and yet to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, fix your eyes on Jesus. He is the Baptizer. When He's come, He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire. Christ is here.
-Therefore, in the name of Jesus, everyone here who is born again and yet to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Receive now the Holy Spirit!
A woman came to me back in 1983. She'd gone to places in search of the Holy Spirit because we were all struggling with darkness. We thought it's a thing that you have to cry and cry for and she came and I said: “Woman!” After she narrated her story. Church Gist. I said, “You went to the wrong places. Jesus is the Baptizer with the Holy Ghost and with fire. If you fix your eyes on Him, right now as you're looking at me, He will fill you up.” She just started speaking in tongues. Straight on, I didn't lay hands on her. She just changed her focus to Christ, the Baptizer and He came in.
Bishop Aremu was sharing his testimony during the Global Conference, no one laid hands on him, “Holy Spirit, I just need You!” And then boom, he found himself speaking in tongues. That's how automatic it is. Therefore, it's not a special offer! All you need is genuine repentance and then you gain auto access. No one laid hands on me to receive the Holy Ghost baptism. Church Gist. Now you know how much you need Him and you know the One who baptizes people with the Holy Ghost and fire, fix your eyes on Him and engage your faith to receive your portion. Therefore, today being the last Sunday and next Wednesday the last service of the week, ensure you are baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues and in this window, as many as are open, you'll receive Him now in the name of Jesus!

How do I sustain the seal of divine protection? What does it take to live under that seal of divine protection? Psalm 91:1-16. I wrote a little piece in 1986 titled, “Keys To Divine Protection.” It's online, it's a very small book. It's a diagnosis of this Chapter. What must I do to remain under this protective covering? Take cover in fellowship. The Church of Christ is God's Endtime City of Refuge. Church Gist. Among the things that take place is the spiritual blood of sprinkling that exempts you from what befalls others. Hebrews 12:22-24. Psalm 91:1. The Church of Christ is God's Endtime City of Refuge where those pursuing you will fall before you. Enjoy fellowship. Hebrews 12:24. So Church is not just, “Long time no see.” No! You take a fresh covering under the Blood when you're in fellowship. So you don't talk destruction, you talk protection. Psalm 91:2. As I keep saying it, He keeps doing it.
-Your eyes shall see evil no more.
So we saw those blessings catalogued here in that Psalm 91 that takes its root on your taking cover in the City of Refuge. 2 Samuel 7:10. Stop playing, “I'm busy” against fellowship, you're selling yourself out cheap to the enemy. 2 Samuel 7:10. That is, we are to stand in fellowship. What do I do to sustain the covering?

It covers everything that you and I will ever need. Please come alive! Being in love with Jesus keeps you under the showers of His blessings. Let me conclude by saying, at the root of His blessings is spirituality. What do I call it? Spirituality! That was the gateway to Abraham's blessing. God spoke to Abraham and Abraham heard it. Abraham began his journey a spiritual man. He could hear from God. He could hear what? “To be spiritually minded is life and peace; to be carnally minded is d3ath.”

But that's when you open up to His leadings. God led Abraham step by step by step by step for 100 years and he ended his journey blessed in all things. Now watch, the lasting legacy of Abraham was that he was God's friend. Isaiah recounted it: "the seed of Abraham My friend." Church Gist James also referred to it in James 2:23, by which he was called the friend of God. So apart from being spiritual, he was unreservedly in love with God. If you will remain spiritual, with access to what God is saying to do per time and stay in love with Jesus, the showers will never cease. Solomon loved the Lord; he came under the showers. Watch his testimony as I close. 1st Kings 5:4 "But now the Lord my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor ev!l occurrent." But when Solomon shifted ground and Solomon loved many strange women. 1st Kings 11:1–2 and God set adversaries against him. Ah, the rain stopped; the showers ceased!
