Dear Parents,
We hope this message finds you well. We are sending this email to remind you of our school policy for parents who pick up their children during dismissal time.
As part of our school's safety measures, we require parents to have a car sticker displayed on their windshields and to show their children's ID cards when they leave the compound. This will be enforced starting next Wednesday (May 3, 2023), and it will help our staff identify the authorized person and car and ensure that our students are safely and efficiently picked up. Cars not displaying car stickers or not showing student IDs to security staff will not be admitted to the school campus at pick-up time from this date onwards. This is for your children's safety.
For parents who have not obtained the ID cards and car stickers yet, please visit the school front office during school hours. We also want to remind you that all drivers should be cautious and patient during the school dismissal process, follow the designated pick-up and drop-off areas, and adhere to the speed limit to ensure the safety of our students.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. As always, we appreciate your continued support in making our school a safe and positive learning environment for your children.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Dear parents,
The Early Years Transformation Project is a new development at Cambridge Academy Ethiopia has the right physical infrastructure to meet the needs of the Early Years curriculum.
This project will ensure that our curriculum is fully aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This means that the school will have the right physical space to support the use of the EYFS framework to support the learning and development of its youngest students.
As part of this transformation, the school will be focusing on the seven areas of learning and development, which are divided into three prime areas: Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development, and four specific areas: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.
The school will be emphasizing play-based learning and child-led activities, as well as working closely with parents and carers to support children's progress and development. This transformation is a significant step in ensuring that the school provides high-quality early years education that meets the standards set by the EYFS curriculum.
The information forum, to be held on 11th May is your chance to visit the school and hear more about this important development. All are welcome to join us and learn more.
Thank you.

Dear Parents,
We have been working with students to secure a design for the school uniform for the new academic year. The students have produced some great work and this work is being presented to the Board on Friday of this week.
Next week, on Friday 9th June at 8.30am, we would like to invite all interested parents to come along to a school uniform presentation in the Primary Library. This will be your chance to see the new design and give us your feedback.
As previously discussed with parents, we are keen to ensure the uniform is produced locally and to the highest quality at the right price. The school is keen to invite parents to provide us with options for the production of the new uniform. If you are interested in supporting us in this regard, please email me at mark@cambridgeethiopia.org and we can discuss how we can work together to ensure the uniform project is delivered effectively.
Thank you and best wishes,
Mark Whitfield
