That was boring and tense.

We have done our part for today.

One to go.

Now we need to remind ourselves how PSG, Barca and Inter were playing in this seasons UCL and ask ourselves if we have personnel to go with them head to head

Now I have a question for the guys who said we'd rather lose the conference final and have UCL .

Did you mean it?๐Ÿ˜

Estevao has done well.

Without Caicedo, Reece and Lavia, we have been brilliant too. Santos has really tried. Both Pedros have been brilliant too

I just hope I didn't jinx Reece and Lavia with that Maresca post and their injuries

That was awesome.

And....I think it's fair to say we have had an easy route to the Finals.

The real battle, against big boys is coming up.

Four years

4

Is the number Arsenal and the rest will be seeing the golden badge in our uniform.

I said and I will repeat. Delap must learn how to be more involved in the game. Times have changed and the game requires more from a striker.

Being the old brute striker alone leaves you and the whole attack disjointed in modern football

He would easily drop back behind Nico if he isnt sold and he doesn't improve fast

Until late into the second half, we were our own enemies.

Our movement with the ball was so poor and made it easy for the Palace low block.

One point gained rather than two lost. But we should certainly improve.

We just started poorly. Today is 2 points lost rather than 1 gained.

Some of the new guys have a lot to learn.

We move on.

Of course the rains disoriented them in addition to coming to Old Trafford. That shows you how far we are in developing mental strength when little things rattle us. The collapse at Bayern was forgivable. Today's shame is not.

Maresca didn't help either. He just panicked as the players did

Maresca is a crazy coach with crazy ideas. He brought in attackers to pin them back. If this is the best team in the league, they should pray that they don't drop points in their coming matches. We will eat them for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

We are a special team with a special coach

I think it's easy for us to man handle big teams because it's easy to discern their tactical abilities. We adapt our games to their style.

When it comes to teams with no specific style of play, our style of play becomes obvious and we become toothless.

We need to adjust our games against small teams. Drop wide wingers, more attacking full backs and more attacking players through the Middle.

Otherwise we will be a mid-table team that wins only against big teams.

We've been playing false 3-4-3 today something almost close to what Rosenior uses at Strasbourg.

To be frank I have seen lots of promises despite the fact that McFarlane is not him.

The greatest positive was doing away with the plenty of stupid pass after pass after pass I used to find issues with. There was urgency in passing and movements. Lots of attacking angles and directness. Lots of aggression and devotion in tackling.

Above all positive transitions from defence to attack.

Arsenal have suffered for 20 years and it's the thoughts of us becoming them that makes us shudder.

Hope it works out fine.

โœ“One goal deficit.
โœ“ Second leg to play for.
โœ“ Lots of positives today
โœ“ Recovery time for better injured players

IT'S STILL ON.

Hopefully better days ahead.

Three critical points

The manager saw the shit and fixed it. Brought in more attackers when we needed them, and got them out again when we didn't.

That was a very critical managerial eye and wits.

ASS NO really disgust me with these corner goals.

So when he was serious writing those notes and instructions down in the 83rd minute, what exactly was he hoping to achieve?

Some Fergie time comeback with the heavy score line?

The one he learnt from Wayne Rooney or what?

A loss but a very decent performance.

Lots of positives to work on.

Changes.

Just pushing Enzo alongside Caicedo then field another proper 10 alongside Palmer.

Gusto is also a hardworking wingback but attack wise though he is just a cross spammer at best. Zero attacking brains. That's one position that needs addressing if you intend to have attacking threats wide.
