⚠️ Beware of Fake COSA Tokens
As our project continues to gain popularity, we’ve seen an increasing number of scammers creating fake tokens using the COSA name.
We’ve added our official logo to DexScreener, but a logo alone is not enough to verify a token’s authenticity.
Always verify the smart contract address before buying or swapping.
✅ Official COSA (BEP-20) contract:
0x5F980533B994c93631A639dEdA7892fC49995839
Many of these fake tokens are only a few hours old, have virtually no liquidity, and exist solely to mislead users.
If you’re using the P.CASH Wallet, you don’t need to worry - the official COSA contract is already built into the app, so you’ll always interact with the legitimate token.
Stay safe and always verify the contract address. A token name alone does not guarantee authenticity.

📢 Dear community,
Messages such as “I want to talk with the admin team”, exchange listing offers, market-making proposals, collaboration requests, CoinMarketCap/CoinGecko assistance, marketing services, and similar posts will be removed, as they appear to be spam and do not contain a specific proposal.
If you genuinely want to contribute to the project-whether it’s exchange listings, partnerships, marketing, CoinMarketCap/CoinGecko support, market making, PR, or any other initiative-we already have a DAO process for that.
Anyone in the community can submit a DAO proposal describing the idea, required budget, timeline, and expected outcome. If masternode operators support the proposal, it can receive funding directly from the network treasury.
This is an open and transparent process that allows anyone to contribute to the project’s development and receive funding for their work.

Cosanta Core 23.1.8: Important Security Update
Cosanta Core 23.1.8 was released on August 4. This is an important security and stability update that is required for masternode operators and strongly recommended for all network participants.
The release fixes four vulnerabilities that could allow a remote peer to crash a node. These issues did not affect consensus rules or put funds at risk, but they could be used to take nodes temporarily offline.
Key improvements include:
• Stronger P2P protection against denial-of-service attacks
• Hardened handling of LLMQ, governance, CoinJoin, Bloom filter, Spork, and compact block messages
• Improved Proof-of-Stake validation and detection of reused staking UTXOs
• Automatic combining of up to 100 eligible staking inputs
• Fixed a potential deadlock when staking with an encrypted wallet
• Bounded ChainLock memory usage and improved initial block synchronization
• Correct Platform port reporting in protx listdiff
• Improved masternode and proposal interfaces, including budget charts and new diagnostic panels
Before upgrading, shut down the previous version and wait for the process to exit completely. Downgrading to a version earlier than 23.0.0 is not supported and will require reindexing the blockchain.

🚀 First DAO Payout on the Cosanta Network!
An important milestone has been reached in the development of Cosanta’s decentralized governance - the first payout from the network’s DAO budget has been successfully executed.
💰 DAO Payout: 166,160 COSA
This is the first payout funded through Cosanta’s DAO mechanism, where funding decisions are made through decentralized voting by masternode operators.
Please note that the 38 COSA block reward is the standard miner reward and is not part of the DAO payout.

⚠️ Cosanta Masternode Update - v23.1.9
We ask all Cosanta masternode operators to update their nodes to version 23.1.9.
After updating, please make sure that your current block height and block hash match the official Cosanta Explorer:
https://explorer.cosanta.net/
If your node shows a different chain, the likely cause is a quorum rotation issue, which has been fixed in v23.1.9.
How to check
Run:
getblockhash 1036019
The correct result must be:
5c49ee22969fba5ef5dd742ba375283a75fc49eabb675a9447e17d9e19627f20
If the hash is different
First invalidate the incorrect block using the hash returned by your node:
invalidateblock <hash returned by getblockhash>
Then reconsider the correct block:
reconsiderblock 5c49ee22969fba5ef5dd742ba375283a75fc49eabb675a9447e17d9e19627f20
After that, please wait for synchronization to complete and verify again that the block height and hash match the Cosanta Explorer.
Please update your masternodes as soon as possible to ensure they remain on the correct chain.

🚀 Cosanta Core 23.1.9 Released
A new version of Cosanta Core 23.1.9 is now available.
⚠️ All Cosanta Core users and masternode operators must update to version 23.1.9.
This release fixes a quorum rotation issue that could cause some nodes to remain on an incorrect chain.
📥 Download Cosanta Core 23.1.9:
https://cosa.is/en/download/
🔍 Check your node after updating
After installing 23.1.9, make sure that your current block height and block hash match the official Cosanta Explorer:
https://explorer.cosanta.net/
Additionally, check block 1036019 by running:

Wait for your node to synchronize again, then verify that the current block height and block hash match the Cosanta Explorer.
🔄 If invalidateblock / reconsiderblock does not help
If your node is still on the wrong chain, stop Cosanta Core.
⚠️ Before deleting anything, make a backup copy of your wallet.dat.
Delete the Cosanta Core data except for wallet.dat, then start Cosanta Core again and allow it to download and synchronize the blockchain from the network from scratch.

Cosanta Core 23.1.11: Important Security Update
Cosanta Core 23.1.11 has been released. This update is required for masternode operators and strongly recommended for all other network participants.
The release fixes a transaction-encoding flaw that could cause a chain split. After DIP3 activation, transactions with negative versions are now consistently rejected. Valid historical transactions and their transaction IDs remain unchanged.
The update also resolves remotely triggerable crashes and denial-of-service vulnerabilities affecting:
- Masternodes
- DKG and quorum operations
- Signing
- Network governance
Additionally, wallet orphan cleanup during chain reorganizations and startup has been restored. The update preserves Cosanta’s Proof-of-Stake implementation and network-specific behavior.
Masternode operators should stop their current node, wait for it to shut down completely, and install the new version as soon as possible.
