The #Cosanta Network has increased its hash rate to 478.289 GH/s, with a block mining difficulty of 30564.78.

After a long break due to our team's relocation and considering our decision to upgrade Core to the 18th version, PirateCash is also undergoing the integration process with our Core.

📢At the moment, the display of Mempool parameters has been improved. This month, we plan to complete the upgrade from Cosanta Core 17 to 18. Additionally, we will soon update the roadmap regarding plans to upgrade Cosanta Core to versions 19 and 20 on the website cosanta.net

💻The list of modified files for November 13 indicates that we are actively developing Cosanta, incorporating features from Dash v18, and soon we will introduce the first public beta version of Cosanta v18.

The LLMQ-based update in Cosanta has been fully completed to the latest version of Dash v0.18. This involved changes in 56 files, with 1070 insertions(+) and 587 deletions(-). LLMQ is a mechanism that enhances the efficiency and security of decision-making in the network.

We are very close to the release of the Beta version.

The test version 0.18.0.0 rc-1 is available for testing, but please note that this version is not intended for use in the main network. It is recommended to use it only for deploying in a test network.

🚀 The growth of Cosanta has been observed recently, which is associated with the upcoming update of Cosanta Core v18.

What's new in Cosanta rc1

1) Improved staking and prepared for PoS v2.5
2) Cosanta core is start native building for Apple Silicone M2
3) Updated Cosanta Core v18 is same Dash v18

Known issues:
- need rescan wallet after orphans
- only on mac os builds (segmentation faults after close application)

Our next steps:

- fix segmentation faults and do release v18
- schedule PoS v2.5 (it will be in v18.x)
- fix orphans
- update core to v18.1->v18.2->v19->v20

🛡Great news!
The date for the PirateCash network hard fork has been set, aligning with our roadmap. Following the completion of the Pirate network update after January 13, version Cosanta v0.18.1 will be available with the activation of the new PoS version. Soon, we will release an update addressing the orphan issue. We are committed to implementing these changes successfully in both of our projects.
