Strategy Buys 4,603 BTC for $369.7M, Ending Its Sell Streak
Strategy bought 4,603 BTC for $369.7 million at an average price of $80,318, its first bitcoin purchase since June after weeks of trimming the position.
Strategy remains the largest corporate bitcoin holder by a wide margin, and a return to accumulation from its most prominent buyer is often read as a sentiment signal for the broader treasury-company trade.
Strategy bought 4,603 BTC for $369.7 million at an average price of $80,318, its first bitcoin purchase since June after weeks of trimming the position.
The purchase, funded by sales of MSTR common stock under the company's at-the-market program, lifts Strategy's total holdings to 845,050 BTC, acquired for roughly $63.73 billion at an average of $75,412 per coin. The buy snaps a stretch of net selling that ran through the summer, and Michael Saylor marked the shift with a characteristically blunt two-word post on X: "We're Back." As of August 30, the company's USD Reserve and USD Cash balances stood at $5.10 billion and $1.61 billion.

Three months, one board. Who raised, who launched, who got bought — and the fund writing the most checks.

— Cap [CAP] led token launches: 6.3x off a $106M public sale, now sitting at a $675M FDV.
— Robinhood didn't launch its L2 quietly: $713M TVL and $16.1B in 30-day DEX volume.
— Axis was the biggest new DeFi protocol: $67.7M TVL on a market-neutral basis-trade play, ~10-20% projected APY.
— Coinbase Ventures stayed the busiest fund: 12 rounds, headlined by Canton Network at $335M.

Real Finance's ASSET Goes Live on Kraken Pro Across the EU
Real Finance made its ASSET token tradable on Kraken Pro for users across the European Union, the network's broadest European access to date. ASSET is up 13.8% on the news, with a fully diluted valuation near $267M.
The move deepens Real's European footprint as it pushes tokenized real-world assets toward regulated public markets.
Real Finance made its ASSET token tradable on Kraken Pro for users across the European Union, the network's broadest European access to date. ASSET is up 13.8% on the news, with a fully diluted valuation near $267M.
Kraken's EU operations run under MiCA, so a listing there clears a regulatory bar most tokens never approach. For a project whose thesis is institutional infrastructure for tokenized markets, a compliant European venue is closer to the point than the price move.
ASSET is the staking asset behind Real's network participants: tokenisers, risk scorers, and insurance providers all post it as collateral. The token launched in April with simultaneous listings on OKX, KuCoin, Kraken, and MEXC, and Real's stack pairs regulated custody with a European banking anchor in Wiener Privatbank, an FMA-regulated, publicly traded bank.

Pavel Durov Launches Gram Wallet, a Non-Custodial Wallet Inside Telegram
Pavel Durov released Gram Wallet, a self-custodial wallet built directly into Telegram, now live for a small initial group of users before a gradual rollout to the app's more than one billion users.
The rollout puts a self-custody wallet in front of one of the largest user bases in tech, a notable step for onchain access at consumer scale.
Pavel Durov released Gram Wallet, a self-custodial wallet built directly into Telegram, now live for a small initial group of users before a gradual rollout to the app's more than one billion users.
Unlike the third-party Wallet that previously lived inside Telegram, Gram Wallet is Durov's own product. Each user holds their own address behind a 24-word recovery phrase, so private keys stay outside Telegram's reach. Transfers are fee-free and the wallet natively supports Telegram Collectibles.
Access is opening in waves over the coming weeks and through September, expanding region by region as the network scales. GRAM rose about 7% on the news, with trading volume up roughly 137%.

OpenSea Adds Solana NFT Trading, More Than Four Years After Its Beta
OpenSea has added Solana NFT trading, letting users buy, sell, and trade the network's collectibles more than four years after a short-lived 2022 beta. Solana is the first non-EVM chain to regain NFT support since that program closed.
The re-entry pits OpenSea directly against the Solana-native marketplaces that built their lead while it was away.
OpenSea has added Solana NFT trading, letting users buy, sell, and trade the network's collectibles more than four years after a short-lived 2022 beta. Solana is the first non-EVM chain to regain NFT support since that program closed.
Users can now trade popular Solana collections including Claynosaurz, Mad Lads, BoDoggos, Collector Crypt, and Phygitals directly on OpenSea. The 2022 beta covered just 165 collections and gained little traction, ceding most Solana NFT volume to Magic Eden and Tensor.
Solana returned to OpenSea in April 2025 with OS2, but only for fungible tokens, with the company signaling NFTs would follow. That step now completes, extending OpenSea's multichain push beyond EVM networks.

The expansion came just days after a16z closed a separate $1.1 billion Machine Age fund dedicated to AI hardware, covering semiconductors, networking, storage, data-center infrastructure and robotics.
The growth fund is a general late-stage vehicle rather than a crypto-specific one. Across its five vintages, a16z's growth strategy now exceeds $24 billion and backs more than 100 companies through their scaling phase.

Fomo Acquires Mobula's Onchain Data Technology for $17M
Fomo acquired the technology, IP, and team of Mobula, an onchain data and trading-infrastructure platform, for $17M. The move brings a data stack Fomo already relied on fully in-house as the app scales.
Owning the data layer, rather than renting it, gives Fomo tighter control over the infrastructure behind its fastest-growing features.
Fomo acquired the technology, IP, and team of Mobula, an onchain data and trading-infrastructure platform, for $17M. The move brings a data stack Fomo already relied on fully in-house as the app scales.
Mobula's real-time APIs and security-enriched endpoints had been quietly powering core parts of Fomo, from its scam-detection to its social discovery features. With the deal, Mobula's engineering leadership joins Fomo, while Mobula itself continues to operate as an independent entity.
The acquisition lands during a sharp growth run: Fomo says its user base has more than doubled to over 1.9 million since early July, adding upward of 30,000 users a day, with monthly volume projected to climb from $500 million in June to roughly $2.8 billion in August.

Ethena Pay Neobank Debuts on Avalanche With a 6% Savings Rate
Ethena launched Ethena Pay, its stablecoin neobank, on Avalanche, letting users hold a synthetic dollar and earn a 6% savings rate straight from the app.
Yield-bearing stablecoins are fast becoming the headline feature for onchain neobanks, with a wave of apps racing to pair everyday spending and savings against tokenized dollars.
Ethena launched Ethena Pay, its stablecoin neobank, on Avalanche, letting users hold a synthetic dollar and earn a 6% savings rate straight from the app.
The 6% is generated by sUSDe, Ethena's staked synthetic dollar, which pays a yield sourced from funding rates and reserve income. It now settles natively on Avalanche after USDe and sUSDe went live across the chain, with liquidity and lending support from venues like Uniswap, LFJ and Euler.
The move is Ethena's clearest step yet toward becoming a consumer neobank, bundling dollar savings, payments and yield into one app rather than a pure DeFi protocol.

Anthropic Launches Claude Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1, Its Most Advanced Models Yet
Anthropic released Claude Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1, calling them the world's most advanced models for coding and knowledge work. Fable 5.1 is generally available, while Mythos 5.1 ships through trusted-access programs with safeguards built for cybersecurity and the life sciences.
Anthropic also framed the launch as an early glimpse of AI-driven science: Mythos 5.1 designed protein binders with roughly 10 times higher affinity than the best prior competition entries, while Fable 5.1 built a sharper elevation map covering a third of Venus from decades-old NASA radar data.

Fable 5.1 costs about 25% less than Fable 5 for typical token-billed workloads, with heavily agentic tasks saving up to roughly 45%, driven by cheaper cache reads. It also debuts Enterprise Frontier Safeguards, giving enterprises zero-data-retention privacy by keeping data on customer-controlled cloud infrastructure rather than Anthropic's.
On benchmarks it sets a new frontier, scoring 52.6% on Terminal-Bench-Science against Fable 5's 24.7%, and topping Opus 5 and GPT-5.6 on agentic coding and reasoning. In testing at hedge fund Millennium, it traced the root cause of a years-old crash that no engineer or rival model had cracked.

The Nasdaq-listed Hyperliquid Strategies expanded its committed equity facility to $2.5 billion from $1 billion, the HYPE treasury company disclosed in an 8-K filed on September 1.
The facility, a ChEF Purchase Agreement with Chardan Capital Markets first signed in October 2025, lets the firm sell newly issued common stock to the bank on demand. After the first $1 billion in sales, a Nasdaq rule caps stock priced below $12.02 at 42.6 million shares, or 19.99% of shares outstanding.
As of June 30 the company had sold roughly $647 million of stock under the deal, and as of August 23 it held about 29.4 million HYPE. It gave no reason for the expansion, but the added headroom lets it keep raising to grow its treasury.
