🕵️ #ETH #L1 #L2 The Ethereum Foundation published an article outlining its future vision for the L1 and L2 ecosystem. L1 will continue as the global settlement and DeFi hub, while L2s are encouraged to evolve from pure scaling to providing differentiated services.
The Foundation advises L2s to meet at least Stage 1 security standards and aims for them to progress toward Stage 2, synchronous composability, and "native rollups." Additionally, the EF is committed to further scaling L1 and Blobs, which are currently only ~30% full, while prioritizing solutions to address cross-chain experience fragmentation within the multi-chain ecosystem. link
