The landmark first of its kind underwater rail-cum-road tunnel in India beneath the Brahmaputra is set to take shape with four artificial islands, forming a crucial part of the ambitious project connecting Gohpur and Numaligarh in Assam.
According to project documents, two of the artificial islands will cater to road traffic, while two others will support railway infrastructure.
On the Gohpur side, the road island will be at least 1.4 km long, while the corresponding island on the Numaligarh side will stretch about 1.6 km. Both will be approximately 320 metres wide
The railway islands will be considerably narrower, measuring 50 metres in width and about 2 km in length on each side.

Bihar becomes the first state in India to launch a dedicated investment policy for the sugar industry
In what is being described as a first-of-its-kind initiative in the country, the Bihar government has announced a direct grant of Rs 14 crore per year for five consecutive years to investors who set up new sugar mills in the state, taking the total payout to Rs 70 crore per mill over five years. The move is part of the newly launched Bihar Sugarcane Industry Investment Promotion Policy-2026, which came into force just a few days ago.

๐1,000+ fake X accounts, complete with warm-up periods, rotating IPs and tools for manufacturing engagement
๐A fake newsroom, Malaysia Pulse, which scraped real reporting, rewrote it with Claude and published it under invented bylines
๐Fabricated intelligence dossiers aimed at an opposition politician and civil-society groups
Anthropic traced the infrastructure back to BBS Biliลim Teknolojileri, a Turkish technology company based in Istanbul. The investigation found that the company was selling access to the platform as an 'influence-as-a-service' product to paying clients. The system was marketed as a 'military-grade, AI-driven, real-time political operations ecosystem'.
