The trade link, which remained shut since Feb 3, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will reopen after representatives of the Pangsau Bazaar Committee and the Nampong Border Trade Business Association (NBTBA) met their Myanmar counterparts at the Border Haat near Nampong in Arunachal Pradeshโs Changlang district on July 9 to finalise modalities for the resumption.๏ปฟ

Out of these proposals Maharashtra leads with 14 proposals, followed by Madhya Pradesh with 11, while Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu submitted seven proposals each, with Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat contributing six proposals each.
It is believed that 20 proposals amongst these will be greenlit in the first approval phase!!
