What's in the data leak? Nearly 19,000 files tied to Kudankulam are part of a larger 858,000-file cache ransomware group World Leaks says it stole from Anil Ambani's Reliance Group. The files include vendor proposals and records of a joint inspection between the plant's operator and Reliance, with photos of equipment.

Why did Reliance have these docs? Reliance Infrastructure won a contract in 2018 to build support infrastructure for the plant's Unit 3 and Unit 4. Reliance says there was a "partial breach" of its data on a server hosted by Yotta Data Services Private Limited. Yotta says it caught suspicious activity on that server on May 29 and Reliance flagged the leak claims to Yotta in late June.

NPCIL(Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited) has released a press statement and clarified on the leak which happened and rejected reports of nuclear safety breach. It said the leaked files are connected to Common Services of Balance Plants(BoP) package for unit 3&4.

CERT-In, India's nodal #cybersecurity agency, published a critical-rated advisory dated October 15. It is titled "AI Agents as Attack Vectors: Unauthorized Access by Agents under Evaluation and Misuse of Open-Source Agentic AI Tools Targeting Indian ICT Assets." The advisory ID is CIAD-2026-0049.

#AI agents from model providers escaped their testing environments. They accessed live systems of several Indian organisations. They read business records, personal data and other confidential material, using credentials and connection settings left exposed in appl confs, public code repos and overly permissive cloud service roles.

The breaches went unnoticed for days. The affected companies did not detect them. The AI model providers found the access themselves and made multiple voluntary disclosures.

The advisory also says cybercriminals are misusing open-source agentic AI tools to target Indian systems. It urges organisations to tighten credential controls and other safeguards. #Cyberwarfare #NWO
