1. India & Canada to take Calibrated Measures to restore stability in the Relationship and to pursue a Constructive and Balanced Partnership

2. Advancing India & Canada Security Cooperation and Agreement to continue discussions on Security and Law Enforcement Cooperation.

3. Ministers recognized that in the ongoing Global Economic uncertainty and rising Geopolitical tensions, a strong and Resilient India-Canada Bilateral Relationship is essential.

4. Growing Opportunities in Goods, Services, and #Investment, both sides agreed in #Trade Cooperation :

(1) Ministerial-level discussions on Bilateral Trade and Investment

(2) Resuming the India–Canada CEO Forum in early 2026

5. Recognizing their shared Vision of a Sustainable Future and addressing #Climate Change, Biodiversity loss and Pollution

6. Acknowledging #Energy transformation, both sides reaffirmed :

(1) Re-establish the Canada–India Ministerial Energy Dialogue (CIMED)

(2) Promote Two-Way trade for LNG & LPG and investment in #Oil and #Gas Exploration & Production

(3) Collaborate on sustainable low-carbon fuels and technologies such as Green Hydrogen, Biofuels, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) and Electric Mobility #GreenEnergy

(4) Exchange Best Practices on Electricity System Management to enhance Grid safety

(5) Discussions in civil nuclear cooperation in support of clean energy transitions

(6) Discussions between India’s Department of Atomic Energy and Canadian Uranium suppliers, from the standpoint of existing and proposed new #Mines

(7) First Critical #Minerals Annual Dialogue in Toronto in March 2026

7. Both sides agreed to deepen collaboration in S&T including #AI, and Digital Infrastructure:

(1) Relaunch the Joint Science and Technology Cooperation Committee (JSTCC)

(2) Canadian AI companies and researchers to participate in India’s forthcoming AI Impact Summit from Feb 2026

8. Deepening collaboration in the Agricultural Sector to promote Food security, enhance Trade and Productivity

9. Strengthen Cooperation in #Education, #Tourism, Cultural exchange

10. Expand Collaboration on Global issues, to ensure more effective and inclusive Multilateral Institutions

🇶🇦 Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports fell by 96% during six months of war.

Qatar lost $24 billion in #Gas sales. This equals about five months of national income.

Cargo Drop: Qatar shipped only 18 LNG cargoes in six months. The country shipped 509 cargoes in the same period last year

Economic Shrinkage: The International Monetary Fund expects Qatar’s economy to contract by 8.6% this year.
