We agree with the core message here. Preparing early is better than reacting late.

Diamante was designed with post quantum cryptography from the start, so native assets on our network are not exposed to an ECDSA break.

Long term trust in digital assets depends on security that holds up as technology changes.

The next blockchain benchmark is not just speed.

It is resilience.

Can the infrastructure adapt when cryptographic assumptions change? Can it protect long-lived data and value through new security environments?

Post-quantum readiness turns those questions into architecture requirements.

Diamante is building for that horizon.

Security is often treated like a feature you add to a blockchain.

For infrastructure designed to operate for years, that framing is too narrow.

Security has to be part of the architecture: how keys are protected, how cryptography can evolve, and how the network maintains continuity as the threat environment changes.

That is the difference between securing an application and engineering infrastructure for longevity.

When institutions evaluate blockchain infrastructure, the question cannot stop at:

How does it perform today?

A longer-term evaluation also asks:

Can the network adapt as cryptographic assumptions change?

Can assets and data remain protected over their useful lifetime?

Can upgrades happen without compromising continuity?

Infrastructure earns trust by being designed for the future it will actually have to operate in.

Your crypto wallet is protected by math that quantum computers are learning to break.

Every Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet relies on elliptic-curve signatures, a scheme that was never designed for a world with quantum computers. A sufficiently powerful quantum machine running Shor’s algorithm could derive private keys from public ones. That’s not a wallet bug. That’s the foundation.

And the threat isn’t waiting for the machine to exist. “Harvest now, decrypt later” is already a documented attack strategy: adversaries capture encrypted data today and simply wait.

The institutions saw it coming. NIST finalized the first post-quantum cryptography standards in August 2024. Then 2026 was launched as the Year of Quantum Security, with the FBI, CISA and NIST at the table, treating quantum as operational, not theoretical. CISA now requires US agencies to buy only quantum-safe products in key technology categories.

So the question was never if cryptography changes. It’s whether your chain changes with it or gets changed by it.

Last week Justin Drake called for "bunker mode": migrate to hashed-address wallets before quantum arrives.

He's right about the urgency. A hashed address keeps your public key hidden until you spend no public key, nothing for a quantum computer to attack.

But here's the honest part: hashed addresses only protect funds that haven't moved. Every transaction reveals the public key. And the 7 million BTC in vulnerable wallets can't migrate themselves.

Bunker mode is a good emergency plan. Architecture that never needed the bunker is even better.

Every few months, someone says quantum will end crypto. We saw this coming a long time ago, which is why Diamante was built with a quantum-proof network from the start. Stay calm; we’ve got you covered.

Let’s talk about $2 trillion.

That’s roughly the value of crypto assets secured by encryption that quantum computers threaten. Not a projection of future risk, a measure of what’s exposed right now.

Inside that number: nearly 7 million BTC sitting in wallets already considered vulnerable, including Satoshi’s roughly 1 million coins that have never moved, in addresses whose public keys are visible on-chain.

Here’s why this matters beyond crypto Twitter. Institutions don’t allocate to infrastructure with a known expiry date on its security. Every fund, every enterprise, every government exploring on-chain assets is now asking the same question: what happens to this chain when quantum arrives?

Chains that answer “we’ll migrate by 2030” are asking for trust. Chains that answer “we were built for it” don’t have to.

Two names to know: Dilithium and Kyber.

Dilithium (ML-DSA) signs transactions in a way quantum computers can’t forge. Kyber (ML-KEM) exchanges keys in a way they can’t intercept.

Both are NIST-standardized. Both run at Diamante’s core. That’s what “quantum-resistant” actually means, not a marketing word, two specific algorithms doing specific jobs.

Here's what nobody talks about with the 2030 quantum migration timelines: migrations are where chains break.

Ethereum's move to proof-of-stake took eight years, multiple delays, and coordination across thousands of validators, exchanges, and developers. And that was a planned upgrade to a known design.

A post-quantum migration is harder. It means replacing the signature scheme itself from every wallet, every smart contract, every bridge that touches ECDSA. It means convincing millions of holders to move funds from addresses they may have lost keys to. The 7 million BTC in vulnerable wallets? Those coins can't migrate themselves.

This is why timelines like "2030" deserve scrutiny. Not because the cryptography won't be ready. NIST already standardized it but because migrations are social coordination problems, not just technical ones.

The chains that survive the quantum transition won't just be the ones with the best algorithms. They'll be the ones that never needed the migration at all.

Last week in Lisbon, nine crypto companies formed the Quantum Alliance: Quantus, American Fortress, Intmax, Keystone, Midnight Foundation, Postquant Labs, Abelian, The Vault, and Hacken.

Their mission is not to debate whether quantum computing threatens existing blockchains. That debate is over. Europol's latest reporting places roughly 6 to 6.9 million BTC in addresses with exposed public keys, coins that cannot be secured retroactively. The Alliance exists to do the work: defining what "post-quantum ready" actually means, and building common tests any network can run against its own stack.

Modeled on the IETF, it works through open proposals across four areas: moving existing funds to safer cryptography, evaluating privacy technology under quantum pressure, protecting wallets, and making security tooling interoperable across chains.

The scope is deliberately multi-chain: common security standards across networks including Bitcoin and Ethereum, with shared security tests and migration guidance, so no network solves the same problems in isolation.

Two honest notes. No machine in existence today can break ECDSA. The Alliance is not about today's threat, it is about the migration timeline, which is measured in years, not months. And Diamante is not listed as a member of the Alliance. We are noting the signal, not borrowing the credit: the industry's serious builders are now organizing around quantum readiness as an engineering problem, not a marketing one.

That is the future Diamante was built for: quantum resistance engineered into the network from day one, not bolted on under pressure.

9X $SHHH mining starts tomorrow, for Genesis members only.

From 11 AM to 9 PM UTC, every block you mine in the QVPN mini app earns 9X the usual amount.

If you’re in Genesis, you don’t need to do anything. The 9X rate applies on its own, so just keep mining. If you’re not in Genesis yet, you can still join before 11 AM UTC.

At 9 PM UTC, mining goes back to the normal rate.

Europol's October report puts roughly 6 to 6.9 million BTC in addresses with exposed public keys. Their assessment, in plain terms: exposed keys cannot be secured retroactively.

The only protection is moving those funds before a capable machine arrives, and that migration is measured in years, not weeks.

Diamante is built for the future.

There is a lot of noise about quantum computing and blockchains. Here is what a real migration actually involves, in plain terms.

First, inventory. Every chain has coins sitting in addresses whose public keys are already visible on-chain. Those cannot be protected after the fact; they have to move before quantum computers matter. This is the hardest part, because it requires the holders to act.

Second, signatures. Networks need address types and transaction formats built on signature schemes that quantum computers cannot break, introduced alongside the old ones so wallets, exchanges, and custodians can migrate at their own pace.

Third, wallets. The user-facing layer has to change: key generation, backup formats, and signing flows all touch post-quantum cryptography eventually.

Fourth, tooling that works across chains, so every network is not solving the same problems in isolation. This is precisely what the Quantum Alliance, launched on October 15 in Lisbon, has organized around.

None of this requires panic. It requires lead time, and lead time is the one resource you cannot buy after the fact.

Diamante does not need this migration. It was designed quantum-resistant from the ground up, so the clock never starts.
