🍽 A "meal" is any single food or collection of foods that you eat and consider it to be a specific event (breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, tea, dinner, supper etc).

🍱 A "dish" is usually made up of several different foods (cooked or not) and might be just one part of a bigger meal.

🤔CANAL vs CHANNEL

CANAL is an artificial (made by people) waterway often connecting one body of water with another for boat to travel along.

Also: a medical term describing a narrow tube through some subsequences can pass.

CHANNEL is a natural part of a river or other area of water which is usually deep and wide enough for the ships to go along.

Don’t shoot if he’s not armed.

🧐 GIFT vs PRESENT

💝 Both gift and present are synonymous when referring to something thoughtfully given, often in recognition of an achievement or holiday.
