(Gazzetta dello Sport via @iMiaSanMia)Are Bayern Munich and Real Madrid really chasing Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma? According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Carlo Laudisa, the two power clubs are of interest to Donnarumma as well: Bayern and Real Madrid are two clubs that Gianluigi Donnarumma would be open to move to. After winning the Champions League with PSG, the 26-year old goalkeeper is considering a new challenge in a different league. PSG contract expires next year. Premier League clubs are also in the running.Donnarumma, who really thrust himself onto the scene during the EURO 2020 (really 2021) competition. For Bayern Munich, Manuel Neuer is expected to retire after the 2025/26 campaign, but the club did also recently invest in Jonas Urbig (who has looked great) and Daniel Peretz (who is expected to be loaned or sold this summer). In addition, Sven Ulreich is reportedly on the verge of inking a deal to make him the squad’s No.3 goalkeeper, while Alexander Nübel is still in the picture, despite being on loan at VfB Stuttgart. In a nutshell, if there was a time that Bayern Munich might be reluctant to invest in a top-tier goalkeeper, it might be now, especially given how the team reportedly feels about Urbig’s future. But for the time being, he’s not the number one target for Bayern Munich. In terms of Premier League interest, there are currently clubs in the middle of the Premier League table who are keen.
