FC Bayern Muenchen Unveils Newly Signed Head Coach Vincent Kompany Photo by S. Mellar/FC Bayern via Getty Images This would be quite a coup for Bayern Munich... According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich has identified its top transfer target — and it is not who you have already heard about. In fact, it is not any of the top four or five names that have been linked to the Bavarians in recent weeks. Instead, it could be a more exciting player — Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola: EXCL | Bradley #Barcola is FC Bayern’s top target in their search for a high-profile left winger!Difficult to realise, but Bayern are actively exploring a potential transfer of the 22 y/o Frenchman. If a move for Barcola proves impossible, Nico #Williams is the top alternative. Max Eberl is also keeping other options open – including Mitoma, Leão and Gakpo.Getting Barcola would be an insane move, but also incredibly difficult. The 22-year-old left winger is coming off of a season where he racked up 21 goals and 19 assists in 58 games across all competitions for PSG. Oh, and he also won a Champions League title. If Max Eberl is going to get his man, he will have to lay it on thick (both with his sales pitch and his contract offer). The latest edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works Show has dropped and we have a lot of say! In this episode, we close the book on the German national team and its disappointing performance in the UEFA Nations League Final Four (at least for now). We also discuss Bayern Munich’s quick work to secure Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof for the Club World Cup, while also assessing the viability of Bayern Munich chasing Chelsea FC’s Christopher Nkunku and why that potential move might not be the perfect fit for what Bayern Munich needs. According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich has “intensified talks” with Athletic Bilbao left wing Nico Williams: Excl | As it remains uncertain whether a move for Bradley #Barcola can be realised, FC Bayern have intensified talks over Nico #Williams in recent days. There have been meetings and discussions. One advantage: he has a release clause of around €60m. The downside: very high wage demands. He currently earns €7–8m net per year at Athletic Bilbao.Williams can very well imagine a move to Bayern – that’s why there have been new developments recently.Williams had 11 goals and seven assists in 45 games across all competitions this season, but has also been linked closely to both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. The latest edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works Show has dropped and we have a lot of say!
